It is a compassionate way to approach ancestors, especially when some of their beliefs and aspects may not align with our own. In a space of honoring it really isn't about us - it is about who we are honoring. - On the rosary: I find they can make mala/chant/ trance beads. Resetting the tool for personal purpose. Great video! Really been enjoying this journey with you.

I appreciated this too. My ancestors were christian and I have often avoided christian imagery out of my own personal beliefs. But you are so right, it isn't my space. Will be moving my bible tonight!

I'm so happy to have found your channel! This was such a great video. I'm so glad you brought up the view that the ancestor altar is for them - and not for us. That really helped me have a different perspective, especially again with items that may not resonate with my spiritual practice but it definitely played a part in my ancestors.
