THINGS TO NOTE
- the all-in-one functionality was a major deciding factor for why i decided to purchase this pan because I live in a studio and wanted to conserve space. additionally, i prefer non teflon coating for non-stick.
- i follow a plant based diet, so i cook predominantly vegetables which generally have high water content.
- i always use the lid.
- i also did not use the loofah that came with this pan for clean up.
- ultimately it was my error that altered my pan's performance.
- since the pan is still functional, i gifted it to my family, but repurchased another to confirm my suspected missteps. since this product has been heavily featured on my channel, i thought you would appreciate more information so if you were inspired, you could make an informed purchase!
- in my opinion $145 is very pricey for a pan with these guidelines, so i think the $95 promo that they ran earlier this year and the year prior is more appropriate.
THIS MAY NOT BE FOR YOU IF:
- your dishes require they be cooked on high heat (aka wok style)
- you fry/sear very often. the brand has outlined that this only be done on occasion to preserve the non-stick coating.
- you want a pan that can withstand anything because you're prone to accidents (forgetful, etc.)
- you want something you can use stovetop and bake in. the handle is not oven safe.
- you like to scrub your pans with baking soda regularly. while you may dilute it in water then simmer/boil, personally i wouldn't recommend scouring your pan with baking soda even though it's mildly abrasive.

that isn't an "everyday cook" that's a "lazy cook". You should always monitor you stove temp and watch what you cook. If you don't, you have nobody but yourself to blame when you start a grease fire and destroy your kitchen. Don't be a lazy fire hazard.

If you’re looking for aesthetic nonstick that can be passed down to your kids, go for enameled cast iron. It’s permanently nonstick and comes in the most beautiful colors. I have a lily lid blue staub cocotte I got on eBay in perfect condition for comparable price to the always pan and if you want one like the always pan look up enameled cast iron saucier pans by le creuset or staub, you won’t be disappointed 🤗💜

I've spent all weekend trying to read up and watch reviews and I can really appreciate this review, I don't want a 1st impression review - I need to see how this mammajamma lasts in the long run. $145 is a lot for me to invest in ONE PAN but having such limited storage I don't want a 15pc set for the same price, and let's just be serious .... who doesn't love pretty. The brand sent me the pan to review and I have had it for almost a year now. I will say that I do not think it is a great pan for someone like me who cooks a lot for my blog. The non-stick quickly dissipates (I used oil, plus low heat and it was still sticking) in less than 3 months even after caring for it using their recommendations (my other food blogger friends noticed the same thing). If you are looking for a multipurpose pan, are not one to always cook and have a small kitchen, this might be your best pet as it is incredibly multipurpose = I have made pasta, steamed buns and curry in this pot. But, I personally do not think it is worth the price point as I have found great non-stick pans for half the price. If you want to invest in a good pan, might as well purchase a cast iron pan.

FYI!!! If you ever burn ANYTHING in a pan , don’t try to scrape it, just take whatever ever you burned out of the pan without scraping it, wait until the pan cools off a bit and put enough “ dryer sheets “ to cover the entire inside of the pan put enough water in the pan to cover the dryer sheets and leave it overnight, in the morning or when your ready to clean your pan, clean the inside with the same dryer sheets if they’re dry put enough water to wet them back up and scrub the pan with those dryer sheets and your pan will look like you never burnt anything in it and if it doesn’t come clean just repeat the process one more time, This technique also works for the outside of the pan as well… Never threw out another pan ever again… I have pans that are over 20 years old and they look like new… And my stainless steel pans when I clean them, I put some corse salt and Dawn BLUE dish washing soap and I use a mild steel wool and you’ll be able to see yourself in them when you are done…

Thank you for being super transparent and honest about the pan! This pan is SERIOUSLY aesthetics goals and if I wasn't someone who cooked before, it would have definitely gotten me to start. Some of the issues with it give me pause as someone who would use the heck out of it (heard the same things from friends; the middle of the pan makes for an uneven cooking surface) and sometimes have to use varying temperatures...I would definitely consider it as a secondary pan for simple dishes and to steam things!

I bought the Caraway set and was shocked at all the reviews of people complaining about them when they didn't read and follow the directions. My new set has changed the way I cook (less heat) and also has trained me to keep my stove cleaner to preserve the bottom of the pan. I had no clue I was messing it up this whole time haha. Keep up the great content, and I hope this comment helps tilt the algorithm in your favor.

I have been wanting this pan and I’m glad you did this giveaway!! Moving to a new location I just can’t stomach the price so I pray that I’m the lucky winner. Your videos are so inspiring and I look forward to more videos like this! A good one would be cutlery reviews. I recently bought a Berghoff knife and so far so good! All from watching your videos!

I really appreciate a follow up with over a year into use, as most I’ve seen are only a month or so later. I also appreciate stating genuine pros and cons and how it may cater to one person’s needs but not another. So with that, thank you!

Yes!! Thank you for pointing out the issue of cooking on too high of heat. I find people complain out their pan all the time and they don’t realize they aren’t caring for it properly. You can’t cook on too high of heat and you can’t soak the pan. If you’re follow step 1 you don’t need to soak the pan anyway. So just don’t do it lol

It's so nice to not hear 50 steps are required including likes/subscribing on other platforms that people (me lol) don't use. Honestly, thank you. Please keep up the great content. Sending love light wealth and health to all.

I have no idea how I got on this video, but this was enlightening. That's why my non stick pan's cooking unevenly! I used too much heat 🤦🏾‍♀️

Thank you! I’m happy with my always Pan. I also have a cast iron for things I want to cook on high heat. But I prefer the always pan. It allows for a single or double person meal which is perfect for me (saving left overs for work). I also like the slow cook aspect

I'm going to be honest. I really need a nice non stick that works with induction. Due to health issues for safety I have to use induction and it's hard to find cookware for it. I see so many people who hate on this pan that I ruled it out. But your extremely thorough and honest video has added it back in as a possibility. You have valid points that I would use for any nonstick pan that I guess people may not actually know about. Thank you for your hard work and amazing video!

Thanks for the heads up. I was pondering getting one of these. Thanks for sharing. Getting a heat defusing plate for under your pan spreads the heat more evenly, reducing burn/sticking.
