Like your setup man, reminds me of when I got into hi fi an av recieves I atarted off with a pre owned Denon UM50 3 CD Changer, and a pair of Bowers & Wilkins DM601 S3 The sound was pretty good, when friends came over I use to connect there playstations, xboxs up to it, even had a red and white cable to headphone jack for the mp3 players I heard a few nice micro systems so I think they are pretty awesome for smaller setups Part of the fun is being able to connect devices though so now I saved up and have a Primare intergrated amp with mono block power amps The most important part is to enjoy them and have fun 😀 My guess for your system price is £370 - £500, depending on when you brought different items I think its nicely done and you have good quality components It's a bit old now but I think one of the coolest looking av receivers is the Denon 5805 The inputs snd outputs 😁 are amazing

I didn't have much of a choice but to go old (not a complaint) Not too many people are selling new recievers and various other HiFi components on the cheap. I also just wanted the thing to work when I need it to. I've heard stories of people buying the newest recievers, and the WiFi features not working, or having to download a software update whenever they want to use it, So old was my best option. I still wanted "smart" features, but smart features that don't get in the way, and that I can upgrade without replacing the whole unit.

I definitely could, but the files I'm Airplaying aren't particularly Hi-Res. And, I honestly probably couldn't hear a difference. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nice Setup ya got there.I remember back in the day my Dad gave me some old speaker cabinets, burned out old woofers&Some of the tweeters still worked,BUT I replaced an re-did EVERYTHING myself! We went to RadioShack an I grabbed 2, 12 inch woofers some tweeters& midranges and put fiberglass insulation in each box and BAM!!They were monstrous bass boxes afterwards! My Dad was stunned how powerful they were and me too!I had a pioneer receiver& some small surrounds my dad gave me too.Its always fun and addictive building up your own stereo/home theater setup!I have the Pioneer cassette deck a model above yours the #CT-W504R and it still works like new!My new Home theatre is huge vs the one I described to you before.I've put alot of time an money into it.This hobbies fun and very addictive once you get into it!Stay creative bro!Love the video,it reminds me of when I 1st started as a teen lol/ Good memories& makes me think of my Dad helping me get started!RIP DAD!🥲🙏Thanks for this vid Shufflehands!!

I've been thinking about possibly trying to build my own sub box, because as you saw, my solution isn't the greatest. If I ever do try and put that together, it will definitely be a video.
