Truly, this is not a hard routine once you understand your products and the needs of your skin. Even if it might look exhausting, make it a routine and try to do it as soon as you get home and shower, getting it out of the way. Angie, you are gold! Thanks for all the information you share with us and for your time. My mom and I are forever grateful! 😊

You guys in the USA are so lucky you have access to these different products. Ever since I started researching skincare a few months ago I realise how we have NO cost effective skincare products in South Africa that have active ingredients in them. I'm wondering why?? Do the expensive skincare lines have a 'deal' with whoever controls which skincare lines are allowed to be sold here? It's weird how the people who can least afford it (eg Africans) are offered the least amount of options when it comes to looking after ourselves. Everything is expensive here, and the things that aren't, are complete junk. Even online most affordable products are not delivered here. My only option has been to use expensive skincare, but as a woman, getting paid less than men do, it's a huge dollop out of my wallet!

Hi Angie. I just have to let you know that my skin has been literally transformed by the products you recommended in this video. I am currently 41 years old. I used proactive solution for many years starting in my mid 20's. A couple years ago I decided that I was getting too old for that and there must be something better out there for my aging skin. I used many different products and about 10 months ago I discovered Dr. Drey here on youtube. She suggested just a simple cleanser and moisturizer. While I have ended up sticking with the cerave wash and night lotions that she recommended it just wasn't working for my skin. I was getting multiple breakouts in the chin area a week. It was really discouraging. I once again started using proactive but it was no longer working for me. I came across your video after watching many of your makeup videos. You have the most beautiful skin and I thought what the heck! I'm going to give a good majority of these products a try. I got on amazon and ordered the vitamin C, AHA, Q-10, and Matrixyl 6. I happen to have a prescription for clindamycin and retin A. I was about to give up on both of these prescriptions. Dr. Drey recommends putting them on after moisturizing and that wasn't working. Maybe they weren't absorbing well....I don't know. I decided to do it in the order that you apply everything and it has worked out SO WELL!!!!! I also ordered the tao clean orbital face brush and I LOVE it! I just can't thank you enough for sharing your routines. It has helped my skin so much! I also ordered the AHA body lotion and like that as well. Thanks for everything! Sue

She's a godsend to some of us younger ladies ( and probably a few gents as well!) I've been a devout subscriber for ... Oh gosh YEARS now anyhow. Everyone thinks I'm 20 and I'm nearly 31. I credit Angie and her skincare tips 100%. Her reviews are always credible, and well researched. These are products she actually uses , not something she's " selling" and the value of that is tremendous because she actually helps us to make informative decisions on our skincare ( which lets face it- is an investment of both time and finances). Angie is GORGEOUS and I only hope to age as well as she has ( always have to factor in genetics/lifestyle as well lol)

Love this years anti aging routine! Brilliant execution. So helpful to see and hear about each element in real time. I have been using your AAAR (NO P!) Angies Anti Aging Routine for a few years now and can attest to the benefits there of. It has made all the difference and I am so grateful. As always, I encourage all reading if you haven't started, do it today. I was skeptical at first and just bought the vit c. Then the second morning step, the third and so on. Each time I brought in the next step, it was clear Angie was on to something special. It seems like a lot of steps, but as she shows here, it is not time consuming and it is quite easy. The only regret? Is that I didn't do it sooner! Thanks so much Angie for my AAAR! #1 fan, Bunnie

Exercise plays a role in looking youthful as well. And you look very youthful and athletic. It reduces cortisol (the stress hormone). Excess cortisol can breakdown collagen and elastin. Also sweat gets rid of toxins. All that blood flowing gets oxygen and nutrients flowing in our body including skin!! Healthy diet is important too. You are so motivational for me and really appreciate you sharing your journey. Skincare and the research you’ve done has been so helpful.

The CereVe Healing Ointment in the blue tube is AMAZING. Just discovered it recently. I had a bad cold a few weeks ago and was blowing my nose so so much, I knew I'd end up with a chapped and peeling nose - but figured I'd try slathering the CereVe Healing Ointment all around my nostrils several times a day while I was sick. Lo and behold, I NEVER got a chapped nose, even with all that blowing. I also love that ointment for my lips. No scent and works so well.

I totally agree Angie I don't think there's one way to do skincare. I really think we have to do what our skin needs. If we're doing something that's not working or causing a reaction then we need to listen to our skin and adjust what we do. Last time I was at my dermatologist she said to keep doing what I'm doing because it's working on my skin.And that's the key working for our skin. Your skin looks amazing so what you're doing is def working on you. Hope you have a great weekend!

Great to know that you have a healthy respect for SPF. It's important to know however that spf shouldn't be mixed. SPF has film formers (hence the 15min wait) and mixing it with something else can affect the way it forms leading to microscopic gaps in your sunscreen protection. Even though the two sunscreens you've mixed have similar active ingredients, they're not formulated to be mixed in with other things so you may not be getting the SPF on the label. A better alternative is to layer your spf's. Perhaps the darker one first, then a 15min wait before a less of the slightly lighter one.

Hello, I am 56 yo I am a shiatsu massotherapist and facialist. I don't have any turkey neck or double chin and almost no wrinkles because, for years, I do facial gym and acupressure everyday and cosmetic oriental treatment on a regular base. Also, I never had had any cosmetic medicine procedure like Fraxel, laser, etc or lifting. The only products that I put on my face are naturel vegetable source organic oils or simple organic sources skincare. I am convinced that the products that she is promoting are not responsable for her good looking skin. No skincare cream. lotion or serum have this power. Also, she uses way to much and they aren't safe because they contain hormone disruptors (link to brest cancer) and contain only few active ingredients. I may be wrong, but I thing that cosmetic medicine procedures using (and lighting) is probably what gives her this younger look. Anyway, you are still very young. For now, the best and safest way to slowdown or prevent the aging process is to do facial gym and acupressure on a regular base (consistency is the key). Yo can also do cosmetic acupuncture and or facial micro magnets that promote healthy skin metabolism. Finally use good organic simple ingredients skincare product to hydrate your face, you don't need more;) Believe me, the simpler the better... All this will promote the health of your skin cells, providing them the energy and nutrients they need to maintain their vitality instead of making them always more dependable on exterior sources. (N.B: english is not my first language).

Tamara's Timeless Beauty on yt is 60+ and uses a much simpler, but similar routine. Dr Anthony Youn also has valuable info about simple, inexpensive skincare. I must say, curology sounds amazing. I wish we had it where I live! I do believe these products have worked for Angie in these videos. She is using some (eg that mineral spf powder, and the moisturiser with parabens) that are harmful chemicals to put on the skin. I do agree that facial exercises, massage and acupressure all contrubite towards great skin, as does good nutrition, quality sleep, hydration and exercise. A holistic approach is always best.

HI Angie: I started taking the Co Q 10 liquid supplement from Costco. It's the same brand as you have. My doctor was astonished at how my bad cholesterol was much better and my good was at an all-time high. I told him I was taking the liquid Co QQ ten from Costco. He said, "three patients have said that". I have been able to lower my dosage in half this year. You inspire me to want to do a beauty blog for women over 60 but my house in Malibu burned down and I don't have the equipment or the expertise, however, I am a science girl and appreciate the time you have put in to advocate products with real outcome studies. Mineral sunscreens (zinc/titanium doxide) work as soon as you apply them, you only need to wait 15-20 minutes with chemical sunscreens.
@Deci_Bella
@Deci_Bella 5 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. A mineral sunscreen literally works as a physical barrier - why would you need to wait 20 minutes? It's avobenzone that needs 20 minutes to interact with skin.
@bluedasher74
@bluedasher74 5 жыл бұрын
Both kinds work as soon as you apply them. Waiting 15-20 minutes is so that it can form an even film on your skin, as it can otherwise rub off in some spots and the coverage won't be even.
