You guys in the USA are so lucky you have access to these different products. Ever since I started researching skincare a few months ago I realise how we have NO cost effective skincare products in South Africa that have active ingredients in them. I'm wondering why?? Do the expensive skincare lines have a 'deal' with whoever controls which skincare lines are allowed to be sold here? It's weird how the people who can least afford it (eg Africans) are offered the least amount of options when it comes to looking after ourselves. Everything is expensive here, and the things that aren't, are complete junk. Even online most affordable products are not delivered here. My only option has been to use expensive skincare, but as a woman, getting paid less than men do, it's a huge dollop out of my wallet!

Hi Angie. I just have to let you know that my skin has been literally transformed by the products you recommended in this video. I am currently 41 years old. I used proactive solution for many years starting in my mid 20's. A couple years ago I decided that I was getting too old for that and there must be something better out there for my aging skin. I used many different products and about 10 months ago I discovered Dr. Drey here on youtube. She suggested just a simple cleanser and moisturizer. While I have ended up sticking with the cerave wash and night lotions that she recommended it just wasn't working for my skin. I was getting multiple breakouts in the chin area a week. It was really discouraging. I once again started using proactive but it was no longer working for me. I came across your video after watching many of your makeup videos. You have the most beautiful skin and I thought what the heck! I'm going to give a good majority of these products a try. I got on amazon and ordered the vitamin C, AHA, Q-10, and Matrixyl 6. I happen to have a prescription for clindamycin and retin A. I was about to give up on both of these prescriptions. Dr. Drey recommends putting them on after moisturizing and that wasn't working. Maybe they weren't absorbing well....I don't know. I decided to do it in the order that you apply everything and it has worked out SO WELL!!!!! I also ordered the tao clean orbital face brush and I LOVE it! I just can't thank you enough for sharing your routines. It has helped my skin so much! I also ordered the AHA body lotion and like that as well. Thanks for everything! Sue

Angies Anti Aging Routine for a few years now and can attest to the benefits there of. It has made all the difference and I am so grateful. As always, I encourage all reading if you haven't started, do it today. I was skeptical at first and just bought the vit c. Then the second morning step, the third and so on. Each time I brought in the next step, it was clear Angie was on to something special. It seems like a lot of steps, but as she shows here, it is not time consuming and it is quite easy. Exercise plays a role in looking youthful as well. And you look very youthful and athletic. It reduces cortisol (the stress hormone). Excess cortisol can breakdown collagen and elastin. Also sweat gets rid of toxins. All that blood flowing gets oxygen and nutrients flowing in our body including skin!! Healthy diet is important too. You are so motivational for me and really appreciate you sharing your journey. Skincare and the research you’ve done has been so helpful.

The CereVe Healing Ointment in the blue tube is AMAZING. Just discovered it recently. Great to know that you have a healthy respect for SPF. It's important to know however that spf shouldn't be mixed. SPF has film formers (hence the 15min wait) and mixing it with something else can affect the way it forms leading to microscopic gaps in your sunscreen protection. Even though the two sunscreens you've mixed have similar active ingredients, they're not formulated to be mixed in with other things so you may not be getting the SPF on the label. A better alternative is to layer your spf's. Perhaps the darker one first, then a 15min wait before a less of the slightly lighter one.

I feel like if I put all those layers of product on my face that it will clog all my pores and cause blemishes, it is just amazing how much you put on! that’s what I’m scared of but at this stage in my life I’m ready to get more serious about caring for my skin now that I am starting to get wrinkles so I am nervously diving in we’ll see how my skin reacts lol ! you look beautiful and it’s working for you, thanks for your advice☺️

I just bought La Roche cleanser at Walgreens. This is the best cleanser I have used so far. Before I used Chanel cleanser for dry skin, and La Roche is better. At first I was concerned if such natural product will remove makeup and mascara and it did perfectly. I love the texture of it. I highly recommend this product too.

Hello, I am 56 yo I am a shiatsu massotherapist and facialist. I don't have any turkey neck or double chin and almost no wrinkles because, for years, I do facial gym and acupressure everyday and cosmetic oriental treatment on a regular base. Also, I never had had any cosmetic medicine procedure like Fraxel, laser, etc or lifting. The only products that I put on my face are naturel vegetable source organic oils or simple organic sources skincare. I am convinced that the products that she is promoting are not responsable for her good looking skin. No skincare cream. lotion or serum have this power. Also, she uses way to much and they aren't safe because they contain hormone disruptors (link to brest cancer) and contain only few active ingredients. I may be wrong, but I thing that cosmetic medicine procedures using (and lighting) is probably what gives her this younger look. Anyway, you are still very young. For now, the best and safest way to slowdown or prevent the aging process is to do facial gym and acupressure on a regular base (consistency is the key). Yo can also do cosmetic acupuncture and or facial micro magnets that promote healthy skin metabolism. Finally use good organic simple ingredients skincare product to hydrate your face, you don't need more;) Believe me, the simpler the better... All this will promote the health of your skin cells, providing them the energy and nutrients they need to maintain their vitality instead of making them always more dependable on exterior sources. (N.B: english is not my first language).

Tamara's Timeless Beauty on yt is 60+ and uses a much simpler, but similar routine. Dr Anthony Youn also has valuable info about simple, inexpensive skincare. I must say, curology sounds amazing. I wish we had it where I live! I do believe these products have worked for Angie in these videos. She is using some (eg that mineral spf powder, and the moisturiser with parabens) that are harmful chemicals to put on the skin. I do agree that facial exercises, massage and acupressure all contrubite towards great skin, as does good nutrition, quality sleep, hydration and exercise. A holistic approach is always best.

@@francemartinez625 Look, I couldn't care less what anyone wants to do. It's none of my business... But please don't try to push your opinions on others, it could be harmful. The whole fear mongering about "chemicals" in skincare needs to stop. The whole "natural is best" is not only ignorant but it is also false. So do whatever you want, but don't try to "educate" others with misinformation.

@@cassthompson3386 I don't try to push my opinion, i just give it. I am not all natural is good and I know the benefit for the skin of peptide , vit A, B and C. I was just saying that the best way to prevent aging and lasting results (specially when your young) is buy using methods that support the skin and body's natural mechanisms to keep you young and healthy. I don't see what's dangerous in doing it.

I admire how you convey so much information in short, concise ways....very logical! You were speaking of "no right ways" ..... to layer, combine etc. Exactly on point! Most likely I am older than most of your audience (71).....and have always looked after my skin. Inventing my own routine-- think it works since I am often mistaken for my husband's daughter and he's 6 years younger than me. My routine is this -- the highest strength Retin-A every day....using for 40+ years now, and wash my face with Cerave. My thought has always been use a couple of high- end products to supplement ( right now it's Biologique Recherche P50 W and a BR masque, other times Tatcha or SK-II etc). You actually save money this way-- only a smidge of product is necessary).Then, for fun, I play around with The Ordinary or Niod. I have learned all these years, that consistency is the most important factor.....much more than the products. ( except for sunscreen & Retin-A, a must). Be consistent, every day, every night .....and never skip. No excuses. Good luck to all, a big thank you to lovely Angie.

I believe she should be compensated for her time and knowledge! I simply wanted to know her take on reapplying sunscreen throughout the day especially to her face with make up on.
@Es3iya5 жыл бұрын
I have mild sun allergy and I never reapply. Unless it's a very long summer day and i go out early in the morning, though i always carry a stick for lips and a small sunscreen bottle but i rarely need it. And even with my allergy i never got rash break outs that i get when i dont use sunscreen at all. The SPF does wear down but really insignificantly imo. It's only really important maybe if you are literally suntannning for hours.

Hi Angie. Thanks for all of your insights into mature skin and aging. I have not always done right by my own skin. While I never was a sun worshipper, I had this habit of sleeping with my makeup on.
