I purchased an "excellent" condition open box LG 32GQ950-B for $700. Unfortunately it was never delivered so I was on the hunt again today and I purchased another open box monitor. This time it was the Samsung NEO G8 for $800. Then I watched your comparison video of the AW3225QF and Samsung Neo G8 and I agree. If I'm going to spend $800 on the Samsung (used) I might as well spend a little more to get the best, so I pulled the trigger and bought the Alienware as well. I'll compare the two and most likely return the Samsung.

Interruptions during the update process such as disconnecting or turning off the monitor or PC will cause damage to your monitor. Fix over-sensitivity of abnormal temperature detection potential mis-trigger Abnormal Thermal detection message pop-up. 2. Fix potential image clipping at the edge of the left or right side of the panel.

@@TheWiiplay interesting. it`s mostly for console gaming and movies now and then. Could always buy the C4 on discount. What made you replace it? 42 seems kinda nice on a desk, was it the colors, finish on the AW?

@@Skruff605 I like to buy the latest tech. The C2 was great but a tad too large. 4090 and 4K 240hz and the vivid colors of QD oled make the c2 seem washed out. Also the ppi increase was noticeable.I’ll grab a C4 and try it out.

I’m really tempted to try one of these 32inch 4K OLEDs but I’ve been using the LG 45GR95QE for the past few weeks and I’ve honestly been spoiled by the scale of having a 45inch monitor on my desk that using anything else feels kind of cramped. Even against my 4K LG C2 42inch, the 800R curve paired with the ultrawide form factor gives it a VR-like experience that I just don’t get with smaller OLEDs

Dell’s been solid w/ firmware updates. Weird how MSI has the MAG version that doesn’t allow for firmware updates.

Yessir. I’m proud of Dell. Far as the MAG, I just went ahead and put a warranty on it through BB, that is where I got mine. Once the better option saturates itself, should I have any options with what I have, I’ll just pay the $50 difference, but for what it is, it’s been flawless for me. Wish I could get another for my Orange cabinet. Also I’m hitting the town Thursday-Monday. You on any other socials? Can’t give my number out here man MF a be blowing my shit up! lol.

This is actually the 4th update. Also you can tell by the number in the update "104". Ive been waiting for thisupdate to fix how windows is handling Dolby Vision. That has been the problem

TKK could you please comment on how this monitor compares to your A95L in terms of pure image quality and brightness? Is the difference huge?

This monitor is great but the true story is that there are components from a monitor that just will not exist VS what we get from TV, specifically that TV. This does have the Gen 3 panel for QD-OLED, but in totality the experience has not at all been one to make me feel I can or would abandon that A95L.

This is the second update my G! The first was for Dolby Vision! Actually didn’t know they released this one.

Mine had DV out of the box. When looking at the patch notes for prior updates nothing specified DV. If so thank you for that correction.

@@AllAboutTKK They all did but it kept switching to Dolby with no way to turn it off Feb16 they released a firmware update that adds a toggle switch to turn it off! You should see it in the osd! This is for screen clipping and oversensitivity of the temperature warning! Dells on it tho! Like to see that thanks for the coverage

I’m on the hunt for a 32 inch oled that lets me change colour temp / white balance in hdr mode. The PG32UCDM locks you out of changing those settings, which I’ve learnt is the vast majority of monitors. I find this utter madeness to be fair

@@adamschulz9719 before you open that you might need to close the Alienware software using the taskbar feature. Not sure if you’re on Windows 11 or not but my PC did prompt me that I had to do that first.

Tv's get their firmware notice because they are connected to the internet. I'm not sure I'd want my monitor to be connected to the internet esp with how tv's putting ads in their menu's nowadays

I’d get an Alienware easily over MSI. I just got mine and it was 1,079.99. Just had to buy an accessory with it and I got a mouse. Very good deals with Dell right now.
