World has got a lot from India like contribution of Indians in mathematics & many other fields are unreplacable but still after such achivements international media portray negative image of India & this is how they are creative negative stereotypes & perspective in the minds of people. This video if good and informative, I did learn several things, and I use Banyan products in my life daily. They're great. However, if I could make a suggestion. You, and most people who are providing helpful hints for skin care, aging, etc. will show a young, beautiful girl such as this. "Nature's first green is gold." It's not hard to make youth beautiful and healthy looking. Why don't you show older people, before and after even. I love seeing an older person with glowing skin and in a state of health. THAT is impressive. Young, healthy people is the norm, it doesn't take much.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on our video and for sharing such open and honest feedback with us. We strive to be inclusive in all of our content, and often feature more mature lifestyle models in our catalogs and on our website. For our videos, we usually reach out to real-life practitioners or experts in the Ayurvedic community, and those who are most willing to appear on camera tend to be young. However, we want to assure you that we are actively working to incorporate the insight and on-screen talents of more members of the Ayurvedic community who have been under-represented for future videos.

this was a lovely video & her energy and sharing are very inviting ....and I agree that an Older person ( I am in my 60s ! and just now starting to learn from Banyon Botanicals ) so it would be useful to hear from/ see their routine. I also know that many men, young men especially , realize skin care is part of a “ whole-Health” approach to well being; so it would be good to have some mini- interviews with some of these folks too!

Great video! Does this skincare routine change throughout the year? What about for someone with more vata in their skin? Does ayurveda avoid exfoliation? Thanks!
@banyanbotanicals5 жыл бұрын
Yes! You can adapt your routine to the season and to your changing skin. It's part of the magic of Ayurveda that you get to listen and respond to what your body needs in the moment. With more vata, you want to be sure to nourish and moisten the skin. Exfoliation is used in Ayurveda, but if you have vata in your skin try to go slowly and do it less often. What is the skin care routine for post menopausal women when skin starts to thin and wrinkle?
@banyanbotanicals Жыл бұрын
This is a great question. As we age, we move into a Vata stage of life, meaning our system can become more dry, light, and rough. Consider balancing with the opposite qualities through diet and lifestyle: moist, smooth, oily, heavy, warm, etc. This could look like adding more healthy fats to your warm, cooked daily meals (ex. ghee), hydrating with added electrolytes to your drinks and drinking hydrating herbal teas, and also applying oil to the skin for external hydration.
