My takeaway....''Be proactive not reactive'' Love you both!

I am sooooo proud of you both!!! Praise the Lord!! Thank you for sharing your testimonies! This is a part of my testimony too. I couldn't get free until I was honest with myself about the choses that were continuing to cause me to fall into sin. It wasn't until I was willing to give up ANYTHING that was a stumbling block and stay away from the very scenes of temptation, that I was able to get free. When my husband and I met, we were both at the same place in our hearts, desiring purity in our relationship. We dated for two years and were able to stay pure,(all glory to God) because we made boundaries and neither of us would push against those boundaries, even when we felt weak. So I would say the two keys that made purity possible is that we stayed away from those things that could cause us to stumble and fall (kissing was one of those thing for us) and being in a relationship where both people have the same desire to honor God and stay pure. God's empowering grace is absolutely more than enough to be free. We just need to listen to the wisdom that he give us, keep our hearts soft and open to the voice of Holy Spirit, and surround ourselves with people that will speak truth into our lives.

Ohhhhhh…you like to read each word in the Bible slowly……please read the Ten Commandments slowly..especially the longest one that starts with the word “ Remember”…..and look at the calendar….be honest…read the creation story( in Genesis, especially Gen.2:2,3) where the Ten Commandments originated….when it was Adam and Eve…..before there was ever a Jew.❤️you are obviously interested in details….God is interested in details….Satan loves to deceive. Satan loves counterfeits….read the fourth commandment ….is the majority always right? When Jesus talks about the wide and narrow way, how many find the way? Many? Or few? Which day is the “ seventh “ day?..is what the world thinks always correct?❤️🙏..

Something to think about is that in Biblical times people got married at very early ages. Like 13!
