Glad to hear that the replacement is welded better, but when reading the title I missed the backhoe part and thought about how cheesy our loader bucket is, thinking that if anything happens to my FEL bucket, I'm just going to Tractorhouse and seeing how cheap I can find a used skid steer bucket because almost all skid steer buckets are sturdier than ours, and not just a whole lot heavier. I love my TYM T474C and would get it again instead of other brands, but their loader buckets are definitely one place I feel they let the bean counters run the show and feel like they expected me to grab my ankles and like it. But as I said, if it breaks, they won't get a chance to sell me a replacement bucket, and since everything in the size range has the same mount, I can find thicker and cheaper second hand. Kind of a no brainer.

Thanks for another great video Hank. It was interesting. Changing your new bucket over was not bad at all. Seems the old one did not have very good welds. Hopefully the new one will be of better quality and good welds. Ready to go again. Thanks Hank for sharing with us. Take care. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

It seems like the quality of tractors and attachments no matter what color/brand has gone downhill. I have a bush hog that I hit an unseen object with and the shear pin didn't shear. Broke the shaft on the gearbox. Replacement cost me a little over $300.00. It also kind of twisted the PTO shaft so it doesn't slide in and out like it should. This was on a late model (2018) John Deere. I understand manufacturers trying to keep the cost down to produce their products, but doing it with inferior materials and workmanship is not the way to do it. I have a 1979 Ford 3600 that is pretty much a "battle tank". It does what I need it to do and is very easy to maintain and/or fix should something fail on it. The only failure that I have had was my fault.

Why didn't you just have that bucket straightened and rewelded? Wouldn't it have been cheaper? God bless you!

Id be hotter than a two peckered tom cat if i spent all the money ya spent for that tractor and its implementation and some stuff like that started happening. Completely unacceptable. Glad no one was hurt. No excuse for shit like that, and it makes me angry when i see it.

Hank what are your thoughts on a 2014 Cabelas LM 75, Cab Tractor with 400 hours for $30,000.These are made by TYM and I know you run TYM tractors and all I have ever run were John Deere. Just your opinion on TYM. You know your not farming if your not repairing equipment.

If l needed a loader backhoe, I'd probably buy a 30yr old Case 580. That is a loader- backhoe. When you're done with it, even after yrs probably sell for a profit. They all need work, even new ones. Good luck 🤞

Oh my Hank I follow you on a regular basis. I like the local TYM dealer and was considering buying a unit with a backhoe. In fact I am waiting to get some figures back regarding the one tractor backhoe unit. I am really happy you posted this today; you are correct that backhoe bucket had extremely poor quality welds on it. So, as of now I think I am ruling out anything built by TYM. I need a good quality backhoe not one poorly welded. My primary use for what I was considering was for backhoe use as I have other farm tractors. I need to dig a few stumps loose before hitting them with my 440 crawler. I can afford a new tractor; but, I can't afford a hoe with poor quality welds. Might take a gander at some older tried and true used units.

I haven't had any issues with my tractor. And I just happen to get a bad bucket. I wouldn't write off TYM. It's a good tractor. Thanks for watching

i understand your position and I truly like my local TYM dealer. I purchase a tractor from them, a Farmtrac 435 they sold new and was tied up in an estate for years. It only had a handful of hours; but, it needed quite a bit of service and small items taken care of, which I did. For years I had a sub compact tractor frame John Deere, made by Yanmar backhoe. I purchased it with a 100 hours on it and four foam filled new tires along wit the original. The fella had an injury and was off work needing to keep up his house payments. The unit was a 650 John Deere with a number 7 hoe. It was standard eight speeds and would dig the full 6.5 feet in depth. For the hp it was an absolute animal I had a two foot bucket and a twelve inch bucket. I sold it when I bought my big hoe with four stick controls. I liked it; but, I crush my one hand and have the strength back but not the agility. I sold this unit in one day it was in good shape. So I have been watching your channel as well as others. Some time ago you did a presentation on the 2515 Branson; I rather like the idea of the R and the price three years ago on the tractor was 16k. So off I went my TYM dealer did not have any of the Branson TYM tractors. He called his rep and they had three R tractors somewhere in the northeast on the lot for more than two years. Somehow the price was more than another local dealer that carried TYM and Branson where a new 2515 H was much less than the one with I take it lot rot. So I thought maybe something different so the T 25 seemed nice. I found RK had them also so I watched quite a few channels and in doing so see some of the TYM sub compacts suffer from broken frames, issues with backhoe quality and bucket quality. My big hoe was power shift International 3600 and loved it. Getting on the hydro compact TYM's to me they felt week and the T 25 was a dog next to my 650 Yanmar, John Deere. The one person on youtube is doing a long term review of the 2515 H and last night I watched him try to plow with that thing it was pathetic. My 435 Farmtrac will eat my 16 inch bottom plow like it was a light lunch. I am not sure if the 2515 R has anymore power; but, I question what it would dig. I need a good backhoe not one where there is play from new. RK gave me a great price and I am approved; however, I am not buying something I feel is not up to the task. I looked at the build of the TYM hoes and it appears they don't have the same thickness to them as my JD compact did. Furthermore, I was very put off by the rep over the local TYM dealer I like responded to me. A two plus year old tractor has lot rot and even the tires deteriorate. To go full list then subtract say $1500 is not acceptable to me. If I have to drive 200 miles to see the condition so be it. I asked for pictures so far nothing yet. It leaves me wondering how good that warranty really is. RK is selling the TYM rebranded offer me an RK 25 with the hoe and loaded tires for one dollar under 22k. Problem is I just don't want a hydro unit period and I question the frame quality of TYM. My little Deere I moved 1000 pound rocks with no cracks or broken bolts. The little JD was not quick attach and the hoe was frame mounted and hard to get off and on; but, it was a workhorse. I grew up farming with tractors and to me it isn't how they look it is how they work. I would rather spend a day on my Case 995 then I would 15 minutes on a gutless hydro sub compact. Love your honesty and great presentations. @@hhamilton1970
