I didn’t love any of the Fendi bags this season. You know I would have gone that way if I did. It’s definitely been an off year for Fendi in my opinion

Love the bag you ended up getting as your summer bag. It definitely is more wearable and light weight. The burgundy is stunning! I have a burgundy colored bag and it is such a chameleon color is the best way possible. Enjoy! ❤❤

LOVE both bags! And I agree about the Capucines, it is a top handle carry bag. I have last years version, which I bought in June 2023, and just wore it for the first time to my nieces baby shower two weeks ago (July 2024). So yes, it sat in my closet for 13 months. I don’t regret it because I love it to pieces, but I have to admit the cost-per-wear will be HIGH. Your Prada will be an extremely good cost-per-wear without a doubt. And it is gorgeous!

Love both the bags🎉… this same Prada raffia bag is on my list too …. I wanted a neutral raffia bag with less of brown … nd luv the gold chain too … did u see Meredith’s Fendi raffia bag ? I’m now torn between Prada nd fendi raffia bag … I luv the gold chain on Prada bag… so mostly will go for Prada bag 😊

Yes I saw the Fendi. It’s beautiful. As I mentioned though, it was more mid priced and I knew I wanted either more budget friendly or super expensive (I.e. the LV wicker). So happy with my Prada choice!

Congrats on the new additions! I have the prada one for couple of years and is the best companion for any trip. True daytime and super cute nighttime with the chain! You will have lots of use for it. Wow the burgundy color, so chic!

Carol it’s beautiful!! And when I was linking products in the description box, I found it’s almost $500 cheaper from 24S!! You’ll still pay sales tax(if applicable in your state) but no customs/duties. A definite win and you don’t even need to travel to get it cheaper!

Was so fun to see your unboxings ! Loewe in Spain - meant to be! I have not been to Spain, but from my last trip to Paris and Italy, it seemed that inventory goes fast compared to NY, so always good to keep the wish list open and flexible. No doubt, shopping with a friend who loves luxury makes it so fun. Both bags are amazing !

Oh Lisa, the Puzzle - it’s gorgeous! I love it. How beautiful is this leather too? It keeps its structure at the sides but still gets slouchy when filled. Don’t you go dissin’ the Edge 😂. I almost bought the Prada in the mint green but I’ve really stuck to my low buy. No luxe this year (so far). We have such similar taste in bags. Enjoy them fully!

Tough call. I love both of those bags. But I’d probably go for the puzzle due to its versatility in ways to carry, plus it’s an incredible bag to use while traveling. And Loewe leather is incredible.

Love both bags Lisa! Great choices and Loewe is so appropriate for a bag to get in Spain. I have the puzzle I. The tan and it’s great! And I love the raffia reedition! I keep eyeing it but I have a few raffia bags including my lovely Fendi first which I love, so I don’t know how much I’d use it as I don’t live in a warm climate. But I do love your new raffia bag nonetheless. It’s a great travel bag for summer also. Looks great on you .

Congrats on your purchases! I understand you well about how you felt about shopping with mom, my mom is the same and I don’t feel comfortable shopping luxury with her. I only shop by myself or with my hubby that understands how crazy we are with these luxury items 😂. As per the LV capucine 💯 agree with you, I feel exactly the same about size and that stopped me from getting it as well, plus I do feel the one with braided handle was better as well. Even myself that live in a city driving all the time, I still think the bb for a wicker capucine bag is not my favorite. Love the Prada raffia bag for summer enjoy her!😊

I didn’t really ask my mom as we have very different styles (in addition to our spending levels). She did find a flaw in the original Prada bag I tried on so they got me a fresh one from the back that’s perfect!

But the shade of pink was more berry and I really wanted a bright pink. I’ll DM you a picture on Instagram. You made the right decision!!! I drive everywhere and still I have to be in the right mood to carry my Dior wicker bag!

The Prada raffia looks so much better on you than the lv wicker, so you made a good choice. I would've loved if you had bought the loewe elephant wicker bag but obviously it wouldn't have worked for your lifestyle. I travel with a friend who isn't into bags or luxury in general so totally understand your mum and the situation you were in. I usually split up with that friend and we arrange to meet up later for lunch or afternoon tea etc. I know that's probably not possible with your mum as she would likely get lost and probably doesn't know how to use the internet! Great bags and will be a lovely reminder of your trip.

Congrats on your new Prada summer bag and beautiful puzzle bag, absolutely gorgeous! I just came back from Barcelona and had a quick question on the vat refund. I went through the electronic kiosk at Barcelona airport and got a green check. But there was no place to mail in your global blue form, or at least I couldn’t find it. I asked the customs officer and they did not take my form. they said I should keep it and will get an automatic refund to my credit card. Did you mail in your VAT forms at the Barcelona airport? I’ve heard of people who get a refund and then a chargeback of that refund bc the forms were never mailed. Not sure if the process has changed.

If you got a green check, you’re good. You don’t have to send in your paperwork. Did you download the global blue app? You can check the status of your refund there. Super easy. Let me know if you have questions about it.

I used those on my Rimowa suitcase. It was actually cheaper on 24S when I spoke about it last. Not too far off of what it would have cost me in Spain. Hmmmm…I might have to go see if that’s still the case. Such a bad influence 😂🤣

Nice bag choices. I like the Prada one. I finally bought my first Fendi rtw item after losing a bunch of weight. It was a sweater from the fall collection. My mom likes purses. But not really luxury. She did kind of humor me when we went to selfridges and harrods in London. She does like people watching. The wicker cappucines seems kinda bulky. Like I’d probably like it in the smaller size. I tend to prefer the bb size in the softer leathers.
