I told everyone in my first inspection video that I was opening hives or opening comb. What in the world is that you might be asking? Well, in this video I aim to show you. It's what I do when bees need more space. Nothing monumental here, just an elementary task that needs to be done or else I'll be watching most all my colonies of bees from the ground as they begin to hang out in the trees. Let's take a trip to the bee yard and get this done.

Thanks for joining me in my bee yard here in Louisiana as I share how I maintain my beehives. My videos are not meant to be 'How To' videos, but simply me sharing my experiences in beekeeping as I learned it from my mentors, teachers, and studies.
