Great stuff! If I may be so bold, I like putting my feet up on my metal folding chair, heels down with my shins at almost a 90 deg angle. I them bridge up, squeezing the glutes and trying to drive my heels towards my glutes. After my prescribed time, I shift my body backwards, keeping my feet inplace which changes the angle and do it again. I usually do three angles per exercise when I do Overcoming Iso's. This exercise really hits your entire posterior chain but you will feel it the most in your hamstrings. Your videos and Overcoming Isometric book has really energized my life. Thank you!

Love the deadlift with handles because you don’t have the bar getting in the way and can center yourself for optimum alignment and hopefully less stress to the lower back. Well done, bringing this to video. 💪

Matt, i like the WorldFit ISO Trainer much better than the ISOMAX. It's much more travel friendly, and I don't want or need any device to measure my progress. I feel it.

I've been doing "trapbar" isos for some time now. I have a platform, using springs and chains. I use blocks to vary the height.

Would you explain the unique qualities of the Rebounder please? As a large man it has been a the answer to my cardio without pain. Great content is normal for you.

An excellent video I continue to come back to, I personally use the Clench Fitness footplate as it's really solid and works fine except it's a bit heavy to travel with.

Matt, as an aside, for my metal health I'm finding that exhausting my glycogen stores once a week, seems to trigger a reset of the neuro-muscular system. Like a vagal flush if you will. I get there with deadlifts as shown with hands just below knees; then 2 rounds of 20 seconds (enough tension to sense expenditure) and then 12 seconds full on. This is my sweet spot after experimenting with time/tension/contraction generally. I'm feeling a merger with longevity here. Anyway, hope that helps someone, somewhere as it has me.

spinal erectors grow and strengthen best from the isometric contractions in barbell squats and deadlifts so theoretically this should be just as effective if not more for spinal erector growth

I liked the single leg deadlift for stability and was wondering with the isomax footmat, whether it would be good to make the strap looser and put your foot under the strap for the single leg exercises (lunge, pistol, etc) so you can get better balance. and push straight up???

Can you please provide a UK alternative to the Draong Door Isomax

I recently purchased the Iso Trainer as well as the Iso Loop utilizing the Clench Fitness footplate to reduce pressure on the ankles for more strenuous Iso holds. Was thinking of the Iso Max handle only but can only find the Iso Chain for which Dragondoor is currently offering 30% off so my question is, what's the difference between the original Iso Chain and the Iso Max taking into consideration that the handle is thicker on the Iso Max. Are there noticeable improvements with the newer handle over the original one?

Im not sure how to actually perform either iso deadlift…. Are you suppose to push through your feet? If so, isnt it similar to doing a squat?
