Fantastic watch again Mikey. A venue I'd love to fish (don't enjoy carp) but way to far away. Those are fantastic silvers, got to be some big hard fighting hybrids somewhere 😊😊. @dragonangling we have organised a World championships Feeder and a few months ago the European cup feeder. When the time is right you can have lot's of fun on our natural venue.. but in winter time it can be nothing.

Proper enjoyed watching that - nearly as much as you did fishing it. What was that maggot feeder you used please? And what's your reasoning on having the reel drag set so free? Surely you'll get a lot of line spin-up by winding against the drag - at least that's what I've always imagined. Also - I heard you mention Steve Ringer rod - what was your rod/reel combo? Questions, questions - but I wanna know! All the best, Andy.

@@wharfeego hi Andy, glad you enjoyed it mate, the feeder were the old drennan maggot feeders but I cut a few of the holes bigger, with the drag I just like it ticking over so if a big skimmer or roach bangs its head the drag will give so I do t get hookpulls. I used a 10ft guru Aventus SR rod, and an Aventus 3000 reel, nice combination. Hope that helps mate
