Infectious enthusiasm. Brilliant ! Little wonder those you meet are happy to join in. I did this walk the other way around some years ago thinking I'd get the ascent up to Win hill done first. Absolutely knackered by the time I got to the summit ! Anyway, keep them coming.

I was genuinely moved by the vista that opened up in front of me coming out of the woods! And as for the peak of WinHill... well - wonderful! I bet you were knackered going the other way!! That was quite steep! So appreciate comments - all the best - Adam

12:00 That is a old homestead called Elmin Pitts. Win Hill is my favourite place in the Peak District. There are so many stories of that area.

Fabulous, yes the amount of brick there I suspected it was some kind of buildings once upon a time. A truly fascinating part of the forest, enhanced by the bright green moss! Thank you, I must do some research into the area. Thanks for watching and comments - Adam 😀

Nice one Adam. You got better weather than when we did it last year. Lovely place. My mrs was not impressed with that steep decent down Parkin Clough. Thought she was going to kill me 😂. All the best mate.

Not really done a lot of the great outdoors for a long time. Your vids are truly motivational and I really look forward to the next one. Don’t live too far from the Peak District so will definitely be hitting up these walks. Keep up the great work 👍👍

Your Peak District hike from Derwent Reservoir to Win Hill sounds like quite an adventure, especially with a 'Glad to be alive' moment! I'm curious, what was the most exhilarating or challenging part of the hike that led to that moment, and how did you overcome it to continue enjoying your trek?

There was nothing to 'overcome' it was just a wonderful moment where the sun started to shine down on a picture perfect moment, with the views combined with the warmth of the sun rays, it was simply a Glad to be alive moment'. Certainly nothing to 'overcome!'
