Oh, how I love Douglas Stuart and Young Mungo was amazing... I loved that even though it was devastating, it still managed to be hopeful and there were a couple funny moments sprinkled in there too. He is an auto-buy author for me too.

🌸🌸 I was excited to see that you read Cuju! I really enjoyed that book. I have some suggestions for classic Stephen King- Needful Things; Misery; Rose Madder; and Dolores Claiborne. I'm planning to reread Needful Things as soon as my daughter finishes it! Just imagine the devil comes to town and opens a shop that sells your heart's most treasured item and it's yours for the taking but it's gonna cost ya! Great book!! 🌸 I hope you are enjoying Japan!

Can I recommend future read of Crystal Singer (a “vintage” 1982 sci-fi) by Anne McCaffrey? I’d love to hear your review on it. 🥰 I have the trilogy in paperback and have read all a couple times.
