Session is such a special game. I can't recall the last game where I just put on some music/podcasts and enjoy getting lost in the maps, doing some random lines that I feel like doing. Seriously one of the most therapeutic, self-expressing games, absolutely in love with it.

@@nathanskates98 i was a session hater too, i would only play skater xl modded but this feels just as good or even better than skater xl. the graphics and replay mode alone blow the game out of the water.

@@sloppywompas see imagine what it's like for me, I'm on console LOL so vanilla xl was what I was defending.. session vanilla has great graphics, stars, story, challenges, so many spots, late flips, impossibles etc. Locking in to grinds and slides on session is oddly satisfying lol

I can't believe this is the same game I hated on a year ago. I bought it 2 days ago, hated it for the first hour but I loved the graphics so kept going.. now, I'm addicted, the way grinds lock in, the spots, the rails, the sounds in slides and grinds, the flip tricks and revert mechanics are absolutely incredible. The graphics blow me away and I love the wear and tare on your grip tape, deck, wheels etc, can't believe how good it is.

@Milky I asked this in your live stream here the other day, but it might not have come off the way I intended it to; It's sick to see how much your style has levelled up in Session. You and @battlegrounddinho are my favorite skater xl players to watch and you can already see your style from skater xl transfer into session. I wasn't a huge fan of the animations in Session after watching other people play it but I'm starting to see it look a lot better with you playing it. All that said... How much would you credit all this to you getting better at the game vs. learning and dialing down the stats settings?

I appreciate that dude! Straight up practice playing the game is gonna help the most, but the settings do matter somewhat. I find having good camera settings and good banking/turning settings are really important to making the game look and feel smooth overall.

The Bro Milky always has his stats OP while feeling the realism of skating without making it almost impossible or too overly realistic. Just grabbed them off the Discord Fam, I've def been opening up more to Session, it's sad for me but SXL hasn't been grabbing or calling me like it usually does. Now I find myself just staying on Session but *just my opinion*, I was a little disappointed in the v1 release. I think I was expecting more gameplay work to get done but excited for dlc's in the future. Stay up 🥛' y and thanks for the content which is fire as always!

I already am blown away by how much there is to skate. This game already had 20x the amount of stuff to skate, and unlike SXL take a lot of tries to land a trick or line. SXL is how many years in and I boot that game up and I’m bored within 15 mins. Not session. And I don’t see myself getting bored either with the skating and amount of content.

I also think the replay editor is so good. It is a learning experience too but so easy once you get it. yeah the game is so hard when u start but then suddenly you get this click and lines just feel so natural and u get immersed like you said. Then of course you get stuck on something and might get frustrated, but overall a very good experience I find.

You're right and it's probably because of subtle character's animations/movements, you can feel the weight when landing a trick. The "dynamic clothes simulation" also amplify that.

Imagine like a black background with a green meter that goes up and down depending how much pressure are on the triggers cuz I really wanna see how much I need to be pressing them for like kickflip tailslide or something if I can't get high enough pop

I would hope for Norway or Switz, considering the amazing nature, like Trollstigen, Lofoten, Geiranger, Ålesund. London, yeah the most boring streets with clone houses in every direction, why not York? Or other English cities with an actual identity. I wouldn't mind having London, but I would definetely prioritize true European hotspots, which adds wonder and not depression. When you get to London, only a few spots creates wonder.... Tower of England, the parlament, is at two different sides of London, the size you need between these two would result in uninspired architecture....
