Having used a wireless machine for over a year.. daily.. I decided to use a xion again the other week.. with a wire.. no foot pedal.. just constant, with a critical power supply .. it really didn't phase me one bit 🤷♂️ I love the wireless thing, but in truth, it's not really that much of a deal.. I def think the universal batteries are the way fwd.. over being tied to 1 batt for a machine, like the flux

hey brother! i used that set up (rca with constant run critical) after evolving from the large critical and foot pedal and clip cord, and after getting rid of the foot pedal life was soo much easier as far as cord management and even just keeping your gear clean, so the next evolution in convinience was definitely loosing the power box and i love it , i will say you really see the benefits when traveling! conventions, guest spotting, traveling to high end clients, etc not worrying about extension cords or power packs or outlets near where you want to tattoo, really makes you feel free! thanks for the feedback man! i still use a clip cord and power box for my dan kubin when i want crispy lines also 👌

hi Gallo. Why do you prefer using 0.35 needles instead of 0.3? are they better for your shading?. Can you tell us the way (techniques) you pack the black in your pieces ;) have a great day

Great videos bro I’m lovin it! Question on the brother thermal printer. Does it print wirelessly from the iPad? Was thinking about getting a echo tank printer but not sure how well those stencils hold vs the normal thermal paper. Iv been hand tracing stencils for years and I’m ready to get some help lol

Hello, great channel and content! 💯 I also have the Shader and Packer. I’m struggling with voltages for both machines. Do you have a guideline for shading, lining and packing for both machines? 🙈 Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge 👌🏻👌🏻
@gallosantiago47763 жыл бұрын
heya! thanks for the love! i love having both but i dont really line with either i can saw as far as voltages i run the shader at 8.1 and the packer at 6.1 for either i would just run them like 1 volt lower for linning and see how that works out! and again thanks!
@CCGDude2 жыл бұрын
@@gallosantiago4776 you really use 3 machines for one tattoo!? Or are you pushing the product..
@simonkristiansen9603 жыл бұрын
ey mate! i just got the b-charged v2, the new one, i'm stunned on how small it is. I only have the packer, and sometimes i struggle to line with it even around 8.5-9volts, i am a apprentice, do you think it's just because i'm not good at lineine yet? like the machine should be able to do everything right? i was wondering if i should buy the liner, i never had issues with a coil machine.
@gallosantiago47763 жыл бұрын
hey brother! ill add this to the questions for the next video but for starters i would try going slower in voltage when lining using a rotary mayber try linning around 6.9 and go up from there!
@techne99923 жыл бұрын
I run the packer and I think it lines good. Make sure you got a good stretch

Try the Joshua Bowers hi-jack for anyone who isn't using wireless. Edit: Also everyone should get a thick grip for their Apple Pencil, Soba makes an amazing one (workhorseirons)

Why do you use standards instead of bugpins? I see most artists swear by bugpins for black and grey realism.
@itsonlyforevertattoos85443 жыл бұрын
Love your work but your equipment is clearly biased towards your sponsor. Even your ointment is Bishop. 🙂 Difficult to have an objective opinion on gear when it's all 1 brand.
@gallosantiago47762 жыл бұрын
great feedback brotha! but a little back story, bishops sponsorship had been on the table for about 4 years now and i refused to jump on board because i didnt want to be married to a brand that i dont rely on soley or by majority. for years id been hosting my seminars and bishop had always sponsored them even though when it came to needles i suggested everyone use cheyenne because that is what i had been using for years and was not a fan of bishops old needles. and actually im also sponsored or (recieve a significant discount) by cheyenne to this day and when the new davinci needles came out i was buying them from bishop even though i had such a significant discount through cheyenne at the time. as far as ointments ive used about 6 other brands and still always came back to inkeeze. Same with machines, theres a lot more as to why i like bishop wands and why i like that over similar machines i can go over in a other video. but i just wanted to give you some insight because it definitely is a valid concern 👍🏼 hope this helps and have a happy holiday! (will be doing comparision videos soon also!)
