How long did it take me? IDK YALL... I don't really time myself or pay attention to time when doing my hair. As stated in the video this will take you a while but I'm also pretty quick. If you've never done this method before set aside an entire day to try it out.

Not all thumbs downs are actual thunbs down. A lot of times buttons are pressed on accident. I realized that because 1 time I accidentally hit thumbs down so Im sure some people dont even realize they hit it. I love your videos.

The Mielle curling custard and the Wetline Extreme gel, work really well together. I have been using it as a combo for the past 4.5 months. The definition was great! I just refresh with a little more custard on the ends and the Mielle refresher spray. Thank you for making the video. Blessings.

Shingling is the only way I do my wash 'n' gos now!! It takes a while when you first start, but when you get used to it (in like 2 - 4 weeks honestly_, it's so quick and easy!! 👏🏿

The shingling method draws my Type 4 hair ALL the way up, that's the only reason I don't do it..... I would be walking around looking like I got a twa but curls be poppin 😂🤦🏾‍♀️..... but your results were bomb 💣💥👍🏾

while my hair is shortttttt.... I am going to try this with my next wash n go! I have told you this before, but you have helped my natural hair journey in so many ways...I was really struggling. When you started saying that your hair needs warm water, and to put my leave ins on in the shower with that warm water..girl!!!!!! my hair has been popping ever since. Your hair turned out great and I'm glad you shaped it at the end. Shinging method is the best for me and my wash and gos. I'll never go back to anything else (especially since my hair is fine, med density, and shrinks like crazy after it dries 😳) However, the definition I get is undeniable and my hair lasts an entire week. I usually don't stretch it until the last day before my wash day. If I could figure out a way to stretch my hair and not have frizz, that would be great! However I haven't cornered the market on that yet. Frizzy hair is a no-go (did I say no-go?) Not even a little bit 😳

I’ve been natural for two years and for some odd reason today I decided to do the shingling method for the first time and omg my 3c/4a curls looks so defined and amazing and the shine was incredible 😍. I will continue to shingle for my wash and gos. (The product I used was the miche beauty leave in conditioner)

Ive done my air like this since going natural 5 years ago. Its the only method i use to make my curls defined but unfortunately is a VERYYY lengthy process.. I get 1-2 weeks out of it.. Love it

The shingling method is the ONLY way that I can ever achieve a good Wash n Go, and it usually takes me 2 to 3 hours to do my whole head, but it is definitely worth it lol. Btw your results were cute, girl!

Shingling method is the best for definition, cantu leave in is good if you're going to use gel no flakes for over a week. It's not the gel causes flakes, when you use eco and any moisture hits the gel after it has completely dried (shower steam, rain, sweat) it causes the gel to turn white. If you're forehead sweats push the curls out of your face until it's cool again. These KZbin videos are so helpful
