WTF, this deck is insane! Animal Companion is a good catch as Leok is finally useful for hunter. I just finished a game vs a Druid, fair enough I went second and he wasn't playing token druid. But it was finished by turn 6!!!! Just got two Mecharoo's and Galvanizer in my opening hand => Coin Galvanizer and drop 2 Mecharoos. Magnetizing and the rest was history. Rolled Leok on 4th turn for some extra 5 damage. No Swipe? You dead!

Back in the old days there was face hunter and midrange hunter (actual midrange). Later, there was a hybrid deck born, that ran like, 2 shredders and 2 highmanes instead of some face cards and it was called "Hybrid" for being inbetween face and midrange. So i think that name is more suited in this case.

Since I don't have a lot of the suggested cards for Mech Hunter, I use Faceless Rager, which is a relatively good choice in my opinion. It's a 3 mana 5/1, with "*Battlecry:* Copy a friendly minion's Health." Now, because the mechs can get big very fast, you could get something like a 5/10 for just 3 mana.

Its a great deck for every matchup, but rogue. It really destroys it, even more if they are slower versions that tech sap and fan of knives. Basically, have 7-0 against beast hunter, mage, warrior, and 1-3 against rogue . Final score 15-4, lost 3 to rogue and last one to shaman (classic rolling of spell power totem).

What does it mean to “tech”? I seen people say “he tech-ed into control warrior”. Does it mean that someone put in cards to specifically counter a deck?

Basically, yeah. They're cards that aren't standard for a deck that are highly meta-dependent, which distinguish them from cards that are added mainly to improve or tweak the core of the deck. It stems from MtG slang, where it referred to "improved deckbuilding technology" and usually referred to any cards that improved a deck, though I think what it evolved into can be better linked to "technical," as in a card added through technical analysis of meta trends, or "technique," as in a card that works as a secret or special technique developed specifically for the current competitive environment.

i get the assumption that rogue sucks against warrior, but i climbed to legend and i collected free wins vs warrior as rogue. if you play nomi with 2x shadowstep you basically cant lose except when they play spellzerker warpath or something like that, which has never happened to me

the damage output is too high for warrior to withstand. I have been playing bomb/control mix and this deck absolutely devastates every game. Warpath clears well, but you still get damage from the bombs. This deck is op for the dust cost.

It's an aggressive deck. It will lose you a lot of games by sitting in your hand until you run out of steam. Even if you survive to play it if the opponent is ahead then they could probably kill it so top decking it late isn't good. In an aggro matchup drawing it early basically loses you the game. Not worth it in my opinion

If you must craft a deck that's currently tier 1, I'd go for tempo rogue. It's good, gets you ranks really fast, has a lot of powerful synergies, and, most importantly, if it gets nerfed, you can disenchant the nerfed cards for full dust refund. If you're interested in playing Rogue in general, Edwin Van Cleef is never a bad craft, and Greenskin/Leeroy are both good neutrals to craft.

I have Leeroy, but yeah, others are also great. The only thing that is against tempo rouge that I have a full mech hunter (with golden Flark). I hit rank 5 (from 10) with that deck, and I think I can continue the push. But Tempo Rouge seems pretty fun and, yeah, I think I will craft it.
