Secondly, those from her colony of cannibals that did lose their lives in the fighting (we don’t have any casualty numbers, so the actual death toll is anyone’s guess) did so in a way that benefits everyone involved as it sent a message to Heaven that exterminations will no longer be passively accepted - an act that will likely preserve more lives and allow the colony to prosper without the looming threat of death once a year over their heads.

He is. In episode 2, i think, we can see him feasting on a deer for brekkie. And we know that he is a wendigo creature. If you know Algonquinean myths and creatures, a wendigo is a human who grows cannibalistic tendencies as they transform into a DEER-LIKE monster. So in that prospect, we can say that he is in fact a cannibal considering he is a deer creature who eats deer. And he can eat sinners too if you watched the Hell's Greatest Dad episode where he eats the sinners after Mimzy and to protect the hotel. In an official comic too, we saw him eat a sinner butcher who was trying to kill an innocent lamb sinner. Not only do these examples show that he is a cannibal but they also show that deep down, like Charlie once said, there is at least a shred of good inside him. A calling inside him to help innocent people instead of turning a blind eye to their needs. Although, this is shrouded by his vague and creepy enigma, I do hope we see a good side of him in the future.
