We have the same texture! I big chopped last week. I was only 7 weeks post relaxer but my hair was breaking off so bad that it just kept making me mad. Hopefully it grows a good amount in 3-4 so i can braid it up!

I'm completely scared of this and it's all thanks to my mom lol...so you know when you have box braids or something and you get lazy to start at the bottom so you cut close to your hair so it can be an easier process? There's been multiple occasions where I did ALONE no guidance and she'd be like GIRLLLL YOU CUT YOUR REAL HAIR and I'd go cry and then let her finish so that traumatized me lol but I like your fro look and I think I'm ready to do a BIG CHOP lol
