Girl, congrats!!! I’m a new ATK former snowboarder went to UofU and I’m seriously considering moving back. SLC is the best and Park City will treat you like a queen. I also want it to be winter all the time & understand the need for speed/something to propel you, and fast. Good luck with the move and I hope to meet you on the slopes sometime!

I wish you all the best in your move and in your training. If you have a chance to follow your dreams, then I think that is exactly what you should be doing. In thinking about you mentioning modeling, November is your month in the Pin-up for Vets calendar. I think it is awesome for you with all the opportunities that you seem to be getting.

I wish you all the success in your new adventure. You go, girl, . You and footless Jo's are my inspiration, in a very positive way, since I myself became a left leg below the knee amputee in May of 2022.

Good for you, our journey's are always fluid. I'm taking off school next semester to train for next summer's Paralympics. Follow those dreams sis, we only have so many years.

Pleased to hear that you love skiing, even though I assume it is alpine skiing and not cross country 😀. Do you plan to compete in several disciplines? Which is your favorite? Greetings from Norway!

First, happy to hear you are going after you dream, you happy, you passion, or whatever phrase works for you. Second thought... "come to Canada" 🤣 I mean we're not the snow bound wasteland some US folks think we are, but there are places, like the tops of mountains, that could be skied year round. You might enjoy it. That said I do NOT actually expect you to do it, First because you have VA benefits, and probably plenty of other things to consider in where you live and train. Anyway, be happy, be healthy, and enjoy this new chapter of your life.

Sounds like you feel about skiing the way I felt about power-lifting, unfortunately I had a spinal cord injury during the period where I was training for the paralympics which has ended my hopes in that sport. I had a brief attempt at getting into quad rugby which I did thoroughly enjoy, unfortunately the area I was living in at the time couldn't get enough people interested in it to post a team and have regular training sessions. Best of luck with the move and with your training for the paralympics.... As someone who has experienced that drive and will to succeed, I wish you well in your endeavours...
