The way I do the spray paint grips is I spray it into the grips so you don’t get any on other cockpit parts

Another alternative to clear paint for sliding on new grips is hair spray. Works the same and the glue in the hair spray can be heated up in future making for easy removal. Clear paint might mean having to cut grips

I love Suzuki RM 125s and 250s. I had a 250 a few years back and had a salad when I moved out of state I was so mad. But you definitely do a good job redoing his bike Southwest a few videos. And I would have no problem spending 3600 bucks on that bike. Keep up the good and hard work buddy

When putting on grips I put a handful of zip ties in the grip. The plastic slides on the metal bar a lot easier then just pull each zip tie out one at a time

My trick for putting on grip's is to use hair spray. Works as a lube when sliding them on and a glue when dry.

@@bakerproductions9241 just look it up on KZbin real quick, I can guarantee after trying it you will never do anything to put grips on again. You just wrap the bar with electric tape, fill the grip with gas. Dump it out then put the grip on ASAP, it slips right on and makes an adhesive to the tape within seconds. I don’t even have to use wire on my grips after doing it either

I’ve always used Hairspray for getting the grips on. Give it 10 minutes after you get the grips on and you’ll never have a problem with them moving

silicone spray is a great platic/rubber friendly lubricant that helps grips slide on and dries out fast too

I've always safety wired my grips. No adhesives necessary and never had a grip slip a mm during 9 years of racing. I know a lot of pros use the same method. Give it a try. Best of wishes, I'm loving your videos. Edit: Not to mention using this method also makes the removal process super easy.

When I put new grips on I use a bit of motor oil. Put some in the grip slide it on and once it sets it’ll lock in place.

Super clean rebuilds. I'm questioning your costs, I've never rebuilt anything and it only costing that much. It's always way over what I imagined. I must be buying junk. 22 hours labor sounds about right, wait til you have a kid, it'll be spread over a years worth of time. A flip turns into a project.

Did you take off the swing arm and check/grease or replace those bearings? what about the front end removing the forks and taking off triple clamp?
