I finally started making enough from youtube to afford a music licensing subscription! I'm trying my hardest to get better at making high quality videos for you guys like the "big" youtubers offer. Thanks again for the support!

I’ve been watching you for awhile now and I sincerely never once had any thot about your music sounds on the videos. Now I admit I’m not an audiophile (I have a friend who genuinely is an audiophile and he notices, for a real life example, the sound of spilled seltzer water bubbles popping in the carpet - like he’s that’s sensitive!!) but still, I’m probably more like others than my audiophile friend is. BTW: You do a nice job of providing alternating visuals for the video from stock videos but longer term I look forward to you using your own video stock as “filler” video while you are talking. Like in this video, showing you and your family and friends building your A-frame. That’s nicely added and more fun to watch than the random photos of anonymous yoga girls in nature. I’m not deriding those choices, I’m just saying I *noticed* the videos edited in and had thoughts about them, but I did not even *notice* the music/sounds. Yo7 are do8ng great and I’m rooting for your success!

Grateful you're so forthcoming with your mistakes lol - a lot of people would sweep these under the rug and continue to be a "guru" on the topic.

Everything that is said is so relatable. I have two bedrooms in my house that are "chock of block" full of rugs, furniture, manchester everything you can imagine I thought I would need to put in the tents. We are 12 months down the track and the local council has still not given us the go-ahead and keeps finding excuses and charging us more fees. This is a 40-acre bare land that I want to use as tourist accommodation with tents. No construction of any building and they are just giving us hell. I am nearly ready to give up.

Dude I can relate so hard to this. With our home build I bought several large items that I never ended up using. My trying to find things on sale ended up costing us money. 🤦🏼‍♂️🙃

Great tips! I have a 2-3 hour drive to my properties too so when I was renovating the last one I made sure to stack my appointments up there and I would also stay overnight so I could make those early morning appointments.

@@KeepItTiny It's my pleasure and thank you for the great content you put out there. I love your videos. I'm actually staying at one of my properties now, one that I've been redesigning. I met with the inspector today for a new property 20 minutes away. Tomorrow I'll be meeting with my contractor then stopping by a different property to add some decorative items... It never ends but I truly love it... construction, designing, hosting.. absolutely love it. 😊

I love the truthful reminder that I also have: I’m like a crow attracted to bright shiny things lol. And this trait can distract my passion, purpose, calling, dreams, plans etc as well as clutter up my life and negatively impact my finances. For example, a decade ago I realized that buying craft and art supplies when I saw them as a good deal out and about wound up costing me tons of money and cluttering my closets for projects I fantasized about but never did. I wound up donating 14 (!!!!) big black bags of arts and craft supplies to my local senior center so I could get back on track with my time, money and space and after that, I self-instituted a “just in time” (like the manufacturing principal businesses use) plan that stated: “once I actually have the time set aside to do any X project, then I can buy the supplies and even if I pay full price at that time for the supplies, I’ll still save money over time”. And I’m not perfect about sticking to my own designed life principle, but it’s saved me money, time, and energy to try this plan. Thank you for speaking truth.

You put a 2 mile long gravel driveway to the glamp site? Sounds very expensive. Paid about 20k for a driveway that only goes a quarter the way up my property. Not sure how I'll get people up the rest of the way without spending a fortune. Considering things like carts, maybe golf carts
@KeepItTiny
@KeepItTiny Жыл бұрын
It probably was shorter than two miles but it was a really long drive way. I got it done by a "local" so lets see how long it will last lol. Fingers crossed.

I once was a guest at a rental in snow covered mountains and they had us park at a county road then use their snowmobile that came with the rental to get to/from the cabin. Good idea to use golf carts :)

To be fair, getting good help out in the country these days is pretty ridiculous. It's easy to say "I should have hired pros" after the fact. But professionals are few and far between out where I live.

I noticed that too but being a self professed "city boy" i wasn't sure if it was just the area my land is or not. I guess good help really is hard to find.
