Sadly they removed all the stock in my country, have to order most over seas now. They used to have many stores with a plethora of sets from 2011-2016, now it has all been taken over by Lego etc

I would imagine most people have, I wasn't quick enough to get a pre order in so can't say for sure but as Mega officailly announced it as delayed to 12 months after the pre order, I would imagine that Amazon would have pulled all the orders and will just re offer it nearer the time.

I’m not judging I’m just curious, why do you buy all of these sets? Again, not judging bc you can do whatever you want with your money, but I’ve never saw what the purpose of keeping things boxed on shelves unless I’m going to sell them in the future. If it were me personally, I wouldn’t be able to physically handle that many sets. So I am curious, why did you buy all of those sets? No offense taken, you worded that correctly so I'll give you an answer. In fact as you are not the only one to ask I'll pin your comment so others can get the answer too. If you are refering to why I have a BNIB collection it's because when I started collecting I was of the belief no one in the world had a complete collection of Halo Mega sets, this made me want to have a one of a kind collection. Why? I just like looking at it, feels like I'm preserving the history of the line. If however you are refering to why I woudl buy 15 Pelicans etc that's something completely different. As a custom builder that likes to build outragously large one of a kind builds out of Halo Mega, I very quickly discovered the frustartion of not being able to purchase the parts you need to realise a vision. When I was building the Ultimate Pelican it took ages because I didn't have the parts I needed to finish it (Well over 20,000 pieces). I had to watch eBay every day for people selling old collections (All of the sets using the correct green for the build had long since retired). This was frustrating, time consuming and expensive as retired sets (Even in used condition) usally go for a premium. To use the Pelican Inbound sets as an example I plan to build an Ultimate Condor at some point, The pelicans will be the mst suitable set to build it from. If it ends up being 1, 2 or even 3 years before I get round to it the Pelican Inbound set will have been long since discontinued and probably be going for £300 plus each. If I end up needing 10-15 sets to get my 25,000 piece build completed and I tried to buy them when I get around to building it it would likely cost me in excess of £4500.00 in parts, I paid on average £85 a set so £1275.00. I guess the simple answer is I buy loads of whatever I think I might need in the future whist they are readily available and on special so I don't have to pay crazy amounts in the future just to complete a project.

If it were me I would want to build things that scale with the mini figs but the ultimate pelican, although impressive, was really big compared to the mini figs. Now that you mention it, a regular sized condor in mega form would be pretty sweet… hmmm (also, thanks for the pin XD)

I explaiend in the overview video for the Ultimate Pelican that it had to be oversized to fit the detail in that I was after. If I'd stuck with Mini fig scale I would have had to loose a lot of the detail that was important for me to include in the build. If you watch the video I go right through all the design choices and decision making. Also, trying to be strict with a scale is difficult and makes the build less enjoyable for me so I just go with roughly the right size.
