IV been on crutches for like 6 years now but I still manage I just can't go out alone and if I ever get money I'm going to have a one of a kind boat built for me and it will need some special seats that can move around the deck like on a track and a seat I can drive in but it can't have a stepped floor it has to be totally flat do I can get around the boat but that will cost about 500,000 that's my dream

Thanks Andrew! You two will love it out there. I use a couple Hero 5’s and a couple Hero 4’s. The 5’s don’t require waterproof housings. Not sure what my most important camera is, but the nicer one I use is the Sony a6300.

Great fish but gill landing fish you intend to release is not the best. It damages the microscopic pores in the gills used to extract oxygen from the water. Heavy duty lip grips and tailing would be more than adequate, even for a large rooster.

Post up a video landing a Roosterfish with a lip grip from a kayak. We’ve tried it, it doesn’t end well. And then you risk them getting away and living with fish grips in its mouth forever. Agreed that the gills aren’t ideal, but when most of these people don’t have experience landing big fish in a kayak, we try to make it as easy and safe for them as possible. The roosters all recovered.

No, we don’t touch their gills. We grab where the gill plate meets the jaw, and if you do it right, you dont touch the gills.
