If you are "feeling it," bank a handful in drafts and use as a buffer for the days when you don't. This way you can still hold yourself accountable to list but if you're hitting the the breaks in bind/spirit you have some "savings" to keep you goal in check. Happy New Year! Thank you for sharing your tips and journey over the past year and look forward to new content in 2022.

I was off work for 11 days during holiday break and my plan was to get more listed and work on eBay more but as each day went by, something always seems to come up and I run out of time. I don't see how full time sellers can spend so much time on eBay alone. There's a thing called life and everyday life duties....done these full timers have other things to do during their day? Things like kids, running errands, yard work, house repairs/cleaning etc ..so much else goes on, it's hard to put a full day in working on eBay

I want to get an average of 15 listed a day as well. I shoot more for dollar amount listed but that averages 50-60 a week. I think 70-90 would be a better number for me. I just need to source more or better. I don’t keep a back stock so I more than likely never have 70-90 things to list so then I would have to go out sourcing which takes time. I’ll stop my ramble, thanks for sharing Josh. Happy New Year!🎊🎆

I'm learning that sourcing the same quality items when you're trying to increase your inventory/listings is harder than it sounds too. Sourcing is definitely super time consuming.

My goal is 70 a week this year, which part time feels like a lot some days but I have goals I want to reach this year. I'm tackling it on the weekends. I am doing 35 Saturday and Sunday mornings then during the week when I have the energy I will add to my draft bank for the days I don't quite make it to the goal. 35 listings takes me around 5 hrs with clothing so I know that I can do it as long as I don't let laziness win.

@donas.6912 жыл бұрын
Organized structure was how you got things done in the military and you can use this same mantra to get things done in your business. If blocking time doesn't work create a list of what you want done for the day. Move those undone tasks to the next day and so on. Not only will you be annoyed for not getting all done on your list daily but it'll show you where you need to improve since we move the least liked task til the end.

Thank you! I’ve tried to explain this to some people close to me. You are so right it is like my own thoughts of organization and tasks makes me freeze and I end up accomplishing nothing. And then some days I’m on task and wondering why I make it so hard on myself sometimes 🤷♀️ I’ve found for me it’s easier to pre bag the items I want to get photographed the next day and I have been getting about 11 listed and any others that are left are great to list the next morning before starting the the next photo batch. I have 3 kids so I’m pretty busy most days anyway. We all have our own way that works for us. You will rock this 👍 just be your own drill Sargent 😉. But again thank you, I related with everything you said and it’s nice hearing your perspective on it. Be well 💕

@@Josh-Kim I actually intended to leave a more insightful comment but my laptop was having some serious problems! Anyway, as per your video, life is a roller coaster. Get up, do the best you can do today. Today's best may not be as "good" as yesterday's best, but tomorrow's could be better. If you just do the best you can everyday, then overall, things will work out. If you get overwhelmed, take a day off. Today, was a rough day for me. So I just did my shipping, and took the rest of the day off. I'll get back to it tomorrow!

Hey Josh! We can all relate to the struggles of being in reselling. I struggle at times because I still have a 9-5…well not really a 9-5 but I’m more part time…but things come up all the time that you have to pull away from your business and sometimes my sales suffer. It’s a day to day struggle like you said. Some days I can knock out 20 listings and feel great and some days, you lack the motivation to do anything. I struggle daily with this but my wife and I do have other ways of making income including our antique booth here in town and we also house sit for people, so I find it’s better for me to diversify my time toward a few ways of making income. I hope that makes sense. I am hoping for some of the same kinds of goals that you shared. Time management is definitely one of them! Peace brother! ✌️
