My cockatiel birds finally try sprouted seeds in their diet. It's yhe fist time they see them so they are a bit scared to take a bite. I think it might be a good integration to their new diet based on legumes and seeds.
My trained cockatiels free fly every day it's possible, they are hand reared and trained since very young chicks.
Cockatiel training is vital as well as gaining your cockatiel trust.
Never try to cockatiel free flight or any other parrot without prior intensive training, not just recall indoor.

I don't use them anymore! It's an homemade mix of legumes and cereals from the "human" market. Video incoming soon

How long would I leave the sprouts out for my bird? Can I save the left overs for the next day?

I leave it for 48 hours if they still look and smell good, otherwise 24 h

Have any advice to find a cockatiel that flew away? Got out from the window and we can't see it around. Has been with us for 2 year since it was 2 months old, we let it stay outside the cage until learnt to fly... Do you think we any chance it'll come back?😢
