I don't understand why so many people hate the pops and crackles on bikes. Usually, especially on modern bikes with modern emissions controls, it's simply the secondary air injection feeding air into the exhaust to help fully combust the exhaust gases. It isn't hurting your motorcycle in these circumstances.

Up hill is always better than down hill. The canyons and mountains roads near my house have some U corners that have like a 6ft vertical difference from the beginning to the end of the turn, completely terrifying to go down! But way fun to go up! I actually have a video where I almost fell over in one... Coming out next week. haha sketchy!
