Fun fact: the titanium trucks and the hollow ones have the same exact hollow baseplate. The only part of the titanium trucks that is actually titanium is the axle.

The kingpin isn’t titanium. It’s the same hollow steel axle as on the hollows. You can even test it. Put a magnet on them. Steel is magnetic. Titanium isn’t. Hollow titanium axles/kingpins would be really cool though. I wonder if it would make them weaker though.

@@ejlopez6637 Yeah you are right about the kingpin. Theeve use to make a hollow titanium kingpin. It was 60% lighter and probably was stronger. I never rode or tried one though. A few other brands have Titianum Hollows as well

Dam that Eagle deck brings back memories. I had just set one up all fresh with custom grip (in my opinion looked hella dope) and never got to really try it out during a session cause shortly after setting it up they stole my truck with my new VX Eagle deck inside. 💔💔😢 I was super bummed out. How similar is the shape and mold of the Yndiara Asp VX deck?

I’m not too sure. I’ve only skated the 7 ply board she had when she first turned pro. If the vx is anything like that, it was closer to a standard Santa Cruz shape (nose bigger than the tail)

Man I messaged you on Instagram and you dropped game on your truck setup! This is a video the people needed. I got a your 8.25” vx setup with the Indy stage four 136’s (I don’t like my axle poking out from underneath my board) with the titanium baseplates and stage 11 Indy soft top bushings (the red ones). Which helps the nut stay flush with the top of the axle. Only thing different on mine is the wheels. Been riding some crusty spots so have the dragons setup on there. Amazing setup tho 👌🏼 Your channel rules!

@@maurcoy it’s for sure much lighter and doesn’t seem to affect the geometry of the trucks. I’m sure it does, but not enough to notice. Still turn and perform great 👍🏼 Stage fours have definitely became my favorite trucks even without the mod. I have a few pairs setup on boards ranging for 8.18”-9.89”. Keep killing it g! by far one of the most down to earth pros I’ve ever talked too 👊🏼

brother, you need a mic, I'm guessing you are filming on your iPhone, so I suggest you buy a little wireless mic to improve audio quality which will result in a more immersive viewer experience. The mic I'm talking about comes in 2 pieces, a wireless receiver which u plug into ur phone and the second piece is the wireless mic itself that u clip on to ur shirt, it has a range of 50m (160 feet).

@@maurcoy "Saramonic Blink 500 Pro B6" is excellent, though its semi pricey, but "saramonic" have a variety of different models ranging in price and audio quality. A pro alternative would be "Rode Wireless ME"

Stage IV are 55mm tall, stage 11 standards are 55mm tall, forged hollow and titanium are 53.5mm tall because of the forged plate; ergo his setup is 53.5mm tall (and for the record the bplate is forged aluminum, not titanium).
