It goes away within like 5 days! The only day that was bad was day one. I just ate soup and mashed potatoes 😂😂

Hello,did you get any other color bands ,except from white or clear? Especially if you want a subtle look

I’ve gotten clear every time. Just make sure you are brushing right after you eat anything that could potentially stain the bands.

Love the braces on you and the break down! Do you have an update on how it’s going? I am in between deciding on ceramic and metal braces, and would like to know if ceramic was sustainable as far as keeping clean and still aesthetically pleasing to look at :)

Hi! It’s still going great! I am 2 years in now and my brackets have held up fine. No staining or anything. If you are looking for something a little more discreet, most of the time people don’t even notice I have braces.

Yes, it eases the pain a little. It’s not more so just soreness not necessarily super painful. It’s just really uncomfortable

The only thing that stains is the clear rubber bands, but honestly mine don’t really get stained. The actual brackets don’t get stained at all

Most people say that clear braces breaks alot than metal braces and we have to pay extra charge for that every time and I think for that reason lots of people prefer metal braces but they are more noticeable than clear braces .... please suggest me which one should I go for?? I'm so confused .... I've seen so many videos but still confused...and please don't say it's your decision because I really need a honest advice....

I’ve had my braces for a year now and none of the brackets have broken. As long as you follow the directions and don’t eat foods that will break the brackets you should be fine. If you want braces that aren’t as noticeable then I would go with the clear. If that isn’t important then the regular metal ones will be fine

Yeah, I brush after every meal so I rarely have staining! It can be annoying

Do you have to wear your retainer for the rest of your life?

Most people get a permanent retainer on their front teeth. I’m actually not sure how long you have to wear the removable one. When I had braces previously my orthodontist told me for the first 6 months I had to wear it all day everyday unless I was eating but then after 6 months I would only wear it at night. That was also like 15 years ago so I’m not sure! 😩

Yep! I stopped wearing mine after 5 years and now I have had to have braces again!

I have ceramic and I’ve never gotten white or clear. My favorite colors on the clear braces are lavender, baby blue, and teal. Lavender and baby blue are very subtle and flattering. Darker colors don’t look good to me. I have black and absolutely hate it lol. But I’m short, trying colors is fun!
