This partially solves a problem but I imagine there'd be extra more interesting problems to clumping all that blood in your expanded veins in your head, I already don't like when gravity puts normal amounts of blood up there when upside down I can't imagine the feeling of extra more concentrated blood up there.

Thing is, the only handstand he can do is standing upright with your hands under your feet... This is a reference to one of his videos

you’re watching a surgery and all of a sudden, you feel like you’re going to faint, “quick, do a handstand” you think to your self. doctor looks back to see what’s happening....he just sees a kid just doing a handstand while he is preforming a surgery
@ryanmoran71564 жыл бұрын
I love the idea but if you think about it, it would probably be extremely difficult to do a handstand while you can barely stand up. Again, love the idea tho😂

I also have this, one time I was in biology class and something subconsciously freaked my brain out. But I could feel it coming in advance, so I tried to retain consciousness because I didn't want to faint in class. What ended up happening is that I essentially fainted while remaining lucid, my vision clouded over until I was fully blind, my hearing got so muffled that everything became random radio static noise. Nobody noticed, so I just sat at my desk in the back sweating like crazy, completely blind and deaf for what felt like a solid minute or two while being conscious (if a bit woozy) the whole time, before my vision and hearing very slowly returned.

I had a similar experience once. I had a blood test, and I kind of fainted while it was happening. I saw myself from an outside perspective. I felt like something was trying to crush me, so I stretched my body out, and my mum said I actually stretched my body out. So that was weird.

I had this a lot growing up, always felt it coming and got this weird static in my ears and being numb and blind to everything pretty much. I was always extremely skinny and once I hit puberty I had to eat about every 3 hours or I would faint because I didnt have enough energy reserves to keep functioning. As you can imagine that wasn't always easy to manage.

*THANK YOU* I was officially diagnosed with vasovagal syncope my junior year of high school and it had been affecting me since childhood too. My parents never took me seriously until I was found passed out cold in the shower. I was out long enough that my hands were paralyzed and "stuck" to my chest due to lack of oxygen I was out for so long. I cannot thank you enough for making this condition more known. Nobody took me seriously because I was young. They all just thought I hadn't eaten enough. You were so spot on with everything in this video. The struggle and frustration that comes daily with this condition couldn't be depicted better. Mines a little more severe as physically exerting myself can also lead to me having a vasovagal reaction. I can't mow the lawn or I'll pass out, I struggle to sweep snow off of my car (I live in Montana we get a lot of heavy snow), and I will even faint sometimes if I am too stressed or overstimulated. I shared this video with all of my friends and co-workers so hopefully, they'll better understand. Thank you.

I mean they still do, this happened to me a few times in my childhood and I went to a heart specialist, but they couldnt figure out what it was so they just said I was dehydrated and left it at that. Even after finding this out from this video I told my parents about it and they didnt believe me, giving me “that” look
@gelletanas4 жыл бұрын
@@RainbowAnimeCupcake yeah, there are certainly people like that and sadly like your parents. and I'm so sorry they do not want to look into something that might be connected to your health. If you are american, it makes more sense since I've noticed, a lot of americans go into debt just because of health care issues there. less value on health than money, sadly. if you are not american than I really don't see why your parents are neglecting your needs but then again there are various types of parents and I'm just sad to hear that they are not looking into the problem you have. hope it will change in time or at least you'll be able to look into that yourself and figure it out. it is always better to seek further even if you don't find anything rather than miss something that might make your life easier by fixing it or at least it will bring a piece of mind knowing what it is or isn't. I'm just glad that it used to be a majority and it isn't anymore. I mean, it was "cool" to bully people, like look at the old teen movies that spin around schools... yikes! today is a bit different. there's still bullies and incompetent people but it is much better and those people are frowned upon general. not everywhere, not all but I hope a majority.

I was feeling really light headed in math at one point and the teacher made me lie on the floor and put my legs up on a chair. I felt better in like 10 seconds. I don't know if that was bad but it worked. I had all the same symptoms of cloudy visions, head going blank, and dizzyness.
@miragestarr4 жыл бұрын
That’s actually fine - putting the legs above the level of your heart sends the blood from the legs back down, and thus more can be sent to the head. This is how shock is treated - you always want to elevate the legs - not necessarily need to do so on a chair but at least above the level of the heart *proud nurse for last 8 years* ❤️

I totally get the whole "helpful to know what's going on beforehand" thing. I have fibromyalgia (basically my nervous system is a bit broken and often perceives most stimuli as pain, especially fysical contact), so when I know someone is going to hug me for example, it might not even hurt one bit. But if it they were to hug me from behind and take me by surprise my body might decide to say "It hurts, we're being attacked! We can't breathe!" Instead, despite the hug being exactly the same force. Wonder why that is :/

I think I might have this, a couple family members have it, and I’ve had some of the same reactions to stuff. Just never been diagnosed. But the first and only time I’ve passed out was when I needed to get 12 vials of blood drawn, and I decided I was fine to watch them draw my blood. They put the needle in and I saw my blood come out. Then I went pale, got clammy, the nurse asked if I was ok I said “yeah” then woke up a minute later being carried to a bed. The two most recent times it happened was first I was in the hospital after having a spontaneous lung collapse… which apparently is possible. I had a chest tube inserted through my rib cage drawing air out of my chest cavity. When I finally got it removed the nurse just yanked it out. I could feel it move under and through my ribs and instantly the blood rushed out of head. I just looked at my mom, some nurses, and a doctor all talking and was like “Im gonna pass out.” Funny enough, those words make nurses, moms, and doctors move very quickly. Then just a couple weeks ago I twisted my ankle, not two bad, but then the blood rushed from my head and I almost passed out.

Oh man, it was reassuring to watch this because I think this happened to me, somehow having a name and explanation to it and hearing someone else's experiences is really comforting. A few years ago in a college biology class I passed out when we were talking about cancer, which was nothing new to me even since I've known people in my life before who have had cancer. But for some reason that day, talking about it in depth really freaked me out and I fainted right in the middle of class. I probably also had low blood pressure since I fell asleep early the previous night before I had the chance to eat dinner. It sucked because obviously passing out is embarrassing, even though it's totally not your fault. I didn't know anyone in class that semester and after I passed out everyone was super awkward around me until the end of semester, so needless to say I was glad for it to end and never see anyone from that class again lol

I remember when I was at a doctor’s office, I was gonna have something done with my nose. I have no idea what it was, but I saw the doctor take out a GIANT “syringe” and start walking in my direction. Me being like 5 years old, my mind immediately turned to one thing as the explanation: *NEEDLE.* I got the impression that the doctor was going to shove that needle into my nose and go all the way to my brain, like with the ancient Egyptian mummies when they pulled their brains out through their noses. I ran. There was a curtain next to a window in the hallway, and I decided that the only way to stop the doctor from shoving that needle up my nose would be....to climb up the curtain and refuse to come down. However, that curtain was held in place only by a few aluminum rings on a pole, meaning as soon as I started climbing, the entire curtain broke off and covered me up completely like a net. I did that thing that kids do at night where they cover their heads with the blanket and think that the monsters can’t get to them, except my “blanket” was a curtain, and the only monster there was me. It turns out, that giant “needle” the doctor had was a bottle of nasal spray for my allergies. Oops.

I have never REALLY thought about a youtubers merch more than "aw that's cute" or "aw, I wish I had money to support the creators I watch". I have never really wanted merchandise more than that sea rabbit. It may just be because I have chronic "I love animal plushes", it could be because it's so freaking adorable, I dont know. But I want one of those plushies so freaking much! I immediately went to the site and ordered one. It's so cute! I love it!

OMG I HAVE THIS TOO. People are always very concerned whenever I tell them I faint often lol. I'm impressed you became a nursing student since I would just faint trying to study anything in the medical field.

omg you're like the only other person I know that has vasovagal syncope! Also, that last story of drawing blood at the doc's office was word for word what happened to me. Ahhh this was hilarious from a fellow weak brainer 😂😂

So, basically the old thing of "if a person sees blood or something traumatic like they show in the movies" they feint. *EDIT: Try having veins that basically don't exist when getting blood drawn ALMOST EVERY OTHER MONTH!*

I think I have this as well. Every time I get an injection or have blood taken I start seeing the old television screen buzzing thing and almost faint. Thanks for making me aware that I’m not the only one who has this😊

I also have vasalvago syncope (or however you spell it) and the first time it happened to me when I was 6 or 7 in an airport. They had this plastic hedge maze thing and I hit my knee really hard on one of the plastic bushes right below the kneecap, and I walked over to my parents and fainted.
