As a non BMW owner I can still appreciate subtle quality customisations to each individual's own tastes and budgets... However this bike looks like BMW would want another version of theirs to look like straight out their factory.. Super work and quality shines through. This GS looks lovely.

That GSA is a labor of love! I adore the blacked out look. I'm gradually doing the same to my baby GS. I'm doing some functional mods first such as USB charging ports, heated grips and a GPS tracker hidden in the beak, but I'll black powder coat the rear rack and other bits as they become available.

@@davidb9323 - I use the Invoxia GPS tracker. I like it because it's small, the internal battery lasts several months when the vehicle is parked and not pinging a signal, it's easy to hide and I have it wired to recharge via the USB charging port whenever the bike is on so it stays recharged without me needing to access it. I bought it with a two year prepaid cellular contract that still has a couple of months remaining. So far, it's been reliable and trouble free. After a ride, I can see the route on a map on my cell phone. I wish the app didn't spy on me, but almost all apps spy on us. :-(

Interesting thought, but the subframe is still black though so it balances the tubing front and rear. If it was the older TB (like my 2015 model) then it would make sense as the subframe is the same grey.

I put Clearwater sevinas on my bike and even at 10% get flashed by cars, have you had any issues with your lights or do you not drive with them On. Thanks beautiful bike

I wish i could buy a BMW R1250 GSA and i wouldn't touch a think. It was a beautiful bike as it was :) Nice mods, but the color is dull and depressive! Nice job done but not for my taste, i liked it on its default colors. How ever i would like to buy a few things if they can fit on my triple black 2012

Good ColorMatch Modification. Wonderful . You have so many SW-Motech Parts on your bike and you dont‘t like the BMW cage so why didn‘t you use the Paniers trax Adventure from SW Motech. They are Great and the Cage is removable By 4 Klicks and the bike looks clean. And the Great News : Cage and Paniers are black. 😜👍🏼

For my likings I also want to add a bit of red here and there, small accents just to stand it out of the rest like the the Lone Ride bags, which are almost a necessity then, it's gonna make the bike so modern Mad Max looking!

What type of prep work did you need to do to the silver pieces at the bottom of the forks. I would like to color the same parts but in Gold to match the Gold Wheels. Were those front silver fairing pieces you mentioned indeed made of metal or plastic?

If the terrain requires for you to stand bolt upright then you might as well sit. You stand for technical terrain and for that bar risers are worst as it does not allow you to get into the proper "attack" position.

Well, can not see any adventure attitude after all that precious, expensive and hard work been done. This bike created for long, tough and hardcore adventures. This bike builded for intercontinental journeys. You destroyed the adventurous spirit of the bike with cameras , lights, devices, gadgets and all that cosmetics. I’m a several GSA rider since 2004. I always order my bike with fog lights and heated grips only. No computer, no esa, no led, no pro off road. No nothing. Less electronic, less problem while you are up there, dropping the bike constantly and riding it on the roads where it belongs. The bike looks fantastic, I can’t get bored of watching it for hours but it’s not 1250 GSA no more. It’s something else..

Have you found the sw-motech belly pan will fit with akrapovic header? I installed the header but the SW-Motech belly pan wouldn't fit on my GS - apparently the stock header bends up before the CC whereas the Akra runs straight and the belly pan won't clear. Curious if you have either modified or know of another belly pan that will accommodate the akra header. Separately, you've done a beautiful job on that bike!! I've copied a few of the items you use, but still have the pricey stuff to do (suspension mods and some further customer painting) Cheers tho on a beautiful GSA!

Hi, you’ve made a really beautiful bike. I paid attention to the video (watched it twice a matter of fact) but I don’t recall you saying what the price of the paint jobs add up to. If I recall correctly you ceramic coated the plastic parts, powder coated some parts, and diy painted some parts (like the fork). What did it all add up to ? Cheers. Do the mods made impact the warranty ?

I certainly don't want to make a negative comment on your color change because it's too subjective and to each his/her choice, however, it does appear to be (in my opinion) too black. I think a black bike needs some subtle bright appointments to accentuate the appearance of components that need to stand out. Too black and the bike starts looking a little too "mission impossible". If that the look you are trying to achieve then I think it's spot on. Triple black is one thing but quadruple black is too much. Again, my opinion o it.

You now have me considering getting my crash bars and pannier mount rack oowder coated. I might go with the blue, to match my trophy blue paint scheme. I don't think I'd go as far as you, with the front forks and such. Did you have issues with getting those side pans powder coated alright?
