Mark. I think the PARENTS were the mastermind of this whole situation. They USED the tech savvy brother to monitor and manipulated OPs life (and possibly OPs relationship w/her brother, to get into her apartment), after she got out of the childhood home & out from under the oppressive parents overwatch. When that plan didn't work, they went to the last plan of "disowning and harrassment," to "try" to get OP back in line. The parents weren't enabling the brother, they were orchestrating his actions. That may be why the brother didn't get slapped with the full weight of the law. Also, I believe that OP was not completely forthcoming with all the details of this situation, at first. Understandable, knowing the family background & the parents grooming of OP. I went to police after I was raped and the officer told me I was lucky my boyfriend was still with me because I obviously had just cheated on him. The system doesn't work, get your own justice. OP.. I recommend you go to the FBI and tell them what your brother did. Even if he died, FBI could investigate your parents involvement and they could end up on some serious charges themselves. Sadly to say, with out your brother asking you to forgive him, I'm very sure he's in a suffering place now for all the pain he's caused you. Wow… This is one of those stories where you just wish you could meet OP in real life and be there as a friend. Such a sad situation, and the brother was so creepy. Literally perving on her with a camera in her bathroom - I can’t even imagine what he would’ve done had he discovered she was questioning her sexuality. She may not believe in karma, but I definitely do. It usually isn’t so quick or direct, but the universe knew what a terrible person this guy was and delivered a hefty dose of justice on OP’s behalf. If I’d been OP and my parents tried contacting me after the brothers death, I’d have sent a letter from some other location (so as to keep my location private). I’d have told them to never try to contact me again and to consider me dead as well, because they lost me as a daughter the moment they took the brothers side.
