I was diagnosed by pcod in 2016. The doctors told me about same contraceptives and i was freaked out. I did ayurvedic treatment for almost 2 years and that reduced my period time to 2 months. Earlier i used to have a tablet. Then i searched a lot and changed my diet. Did some exercise and diet actually helped me. I still have some blackness on face as the result of pcod. But now i am aware of my body. Exercising and dietary changes are must. But what helped me was turmeric, ginger tea. I still have it. Now i monitor my dates and it's a healing journey. One thing i understood that affected me most was stress. I am not a big eater, i was never comfortable with junk so leaving some food options was easy. But stress is the thing that made me gain weight. Also intermittent fasting works if one has to try.

Because this comes with diabetes, hirsutism ,acne, hyperpigmentation, wt gain, thyroid issues , infertility etc etc etc I have been on intermittent fasting of 14-16hrs since a year and it has helped with my weight.

I’m diagnosed with PCOD and facing acne, periods issue (heavy flow won’t stop atleast for 10-15 days) I never took any medicines that my doctor prescribed because I know it will make things worse and just a band aid solutions that they will give. I’m just eventually cutting out all the junk food and I think my body is healing on its own but although my acne is still bothering me I have it all over my face, I’m not going out because how my skin is looking, constantly feeling low but also being strong at the same time it’s like a cycle, after listening to your words that feeling of fear, sadness coming off of my chest and somewhat feeling better. I will heal through this… this too shall pass and I know I will be happy 🥹❤ Thank you for sharing your journey

Could you please make a video showing easy and fun recipes that we can try? It would really help us. Lots of love and thank you for doing this❤

Sounds like classic sugar add•ction. Do 90 day abstinence detox to break the addiction and cravings. In other words, do a zero-carb elimination diet for 90 days. This was the only way I was able to break out of the add•ction and end the cravings. Just be ready to go through a week or two of uncomfortable sugar withdrawal/detox symptoms → headache, low energy, disturbed sleep, muscle cramps, extreme cravings, etc. Sugar is like alcohol, nicotine, and caffeine → certain people can become chemically add•cted to sugar. It only sounds silly to people who aren't add•cted. But anyone who regularly experiences the power of the cravings understands how serious the situation can be. I am happy to explain more or answer questions or address concerns.

@Hertz2laugh4 ай бұрын
@@anjalipandey8454 Part 1 of 3 I will explain by talking about boiling water on a stove. This idea will help you understand PCOS. How do you make water boil on a stove? → Heat → Time If you apply heat and give enough time, the water will boil. The more heat you apply, the less time it takes before the water boils. What happens to boiling water when you remove it from the heat from the stove? → the water automatically begins to return to normal temperature. This is a simple example that everyone can understand → to boil water requires heat and time, and removing the heat will result in the water automatically returning to normal temperature over time. Now let us review the same example but change the idea of "boiling water" to the idea of "developing PCOS". How do you develop PCOS? → "heat" (we will explain later) → time Just like with boiling water, if you add "heat" to your body for long enough time, you will develop PCOS. And, if you stop adding "heat" to your body, you will automatically reverse PCOS just like boiling water automatically cools off when you stop adding heat. Okay, now we will explain what "heat" is for PCOS. In the example of boiling water, "heat" is actual flames from a fire → when you put water in a pot and heat it with fire, the water will eventuall boil. But, for PCOS, the "heat" is not physical fire. For humans, the "heat" that causes PCOS is a hormone called insulin → when a human has elevated insulin in their body, it acts like a "fire". If a person " heats" their body with elevated insulin for long enough they will beging to "boil" → they will develop PCOS symptoms. But, if a person with PCOS reverses the elevated insulin in their body, the PCOS symptoms will automatically reverse just like how boiling water automatically cools off if you remove the flames. So, now we know that PCOS comes from having too much insulin hormone for too long.
@Hertz2laugh4 ай бұрын
Part 3 of 3 Now we can talk about how to create your own meals for PCOS reversal. Step 1) Always include fat Step 2) Always include protein Step 3) Always minimize carbohydrates → 20g total for the entire day (NOT 20g per meal) Step 4) Select whatever spices you want for flavor Step 5) Cook and eat and enjoy healing Another way to state it is as follows: Step 1) Select a meat or fish Step 2) Consider adding eggs (as much as you enjoy) Step 3) Add *_SMALL_*amouny of whatever plants you enjoy → Calculate the carbs Steo 4) Add *_SMALL_* amount of dairy if desired → Calculate the carbs Step 4) Add spices to flavor the meal as you prefer → Indian, Mexican, Chinese, etc. Step 5) Cook and eat and enjoy healing EXAMPLE MEAL: Pork (4 bacon strips) with 2 eggs cooked in butter, and ½ avocado. → Bacon = fat and protein and 0 carbs → Eggs = fat and protein and extremely low carbs → ½ Avocado = fat, low protein, low carbs. Nutrition breakdown: Fat: 40g Protecarbs25 → 30g Carbs: 7 → 10g Note: the avocado accounts for 90% of the carbs in that meal. Only about 1g of carbs comes from eggs. This meal represents 50% of your daily carb. This means you could eat two of these meals a day before you reach your carb limit. But, consider this: How many meals of bacon and eggs could you eat if you didn't have the avocado? If you calculate about 1g of carbs for every two eggs, that means you could eat bacon and eggs 20 times in one day before hitting your carb limit! And, if you just at the bacon without the eggs, you could eat without limit because bacon essentially has 0 carbs I hope this helps you to understand how to create and monitor your own meals → pick a meat/seafood and/or eggs, count up carbs for any plants, sauces, dairy, and spices. *_USING TECHNOLOGY FOR HEALTH:_* Calculating/tracking how many carbs you are eating can be made easier by using certain tools: 1) Food scale 2) ChatGPT app (Artificial Intelligence) I use ChatGPT (free app) to help calculate how much fat, protein and carbs are in the meals I eat. I simply use this prompt: "Estimate the fat, protein, and carbohydrate content in grams for the following meal:" Then I list the elements of the meal: 4 bacon strips 2 eggs cooked in butter 1/2 avocado ChatGPT will provide an estimate in less than one minute. This is a fast and relatively accurate way to track what you are eating. If you cannot access the JPT app on your phone or a computer, or you do not like the idea of using artificial intelligence, then you can use websites to calculate the carbohydrate content of the food you're eating. And, of course, if your foods come with nutrition labels, you can simply add up the total carbohydrates from the labels. I hope this explanation helps you better understand PCOS and how to reverse it. If you still have questions, please feel free to ask. Also, keep in mind that if you suddenly change your diet to a low carbohydrate diet as I have described, there will be a major adjustment period. The more suddenly you make the change, the more intense the adjustment period will be. This is common anytime you make a drastic change to your diet. It is temporary and usually lasts anywhere from one to three weeks.

I went through similar things as well I was diagnosed with pcos at the age of 15 so basically since I started my periods, did the same things like homeopathy birth control pills etc etc .. i have just completed my mbbs, there is where I completely understood what my disease is …there are types of pcos and it completely depends on the individual.. my symptoms were acne , irregular periods I did not have any issues with my weight basically mine is called lean pcos so what I suggest is just understand your body try eliminating and adding food items to see how your body reacts , be positive and exercise regularly … the doctors are still doing research about pcos so hence there is no definitive treatment …you know your body more than anybody so try to understand its needs . It will reduce, and way more better, for example if you're 80 kgz the facial hair will be worst but if you weight loss it will way more better
