As someone with a photogrammetry background I understand your challenges and can point you towards automating the shoot using a computer and camera SDK (I'm a canon guy myself so idk if there's a nikon substitute). With some basic programming you could set the settings on all cameras at once, commence a prior focus and then shoot the photos simultaneously. You can even directly download them to your PC skipping the SD card apocalypse :> It's gonna need a lot of usb cables, and hopefully a computer with lots of separate usb controllers (to decrease the delays). And maybe your sync box would come to use as well as I've heard the PC interface is actually faster than usb so you could invoke it for shooting the photos (gotta find a way how to do so via your computer) and do all the rest via the usb interface.

And if you have time on hand I guess you could also try calibrating your rig's photos by measuring the distances between the cameras and converting these somehow to Photoshop translations. Bah you might not even have to measure it all yourself, by placing a scale bar as the subject of your photoshoot you could just let photogrammetry compute the camera position approximation for you with free software like Reality Capture.

Wow. I became obsessed with shooting slide film to make stereo realist slides, but later started to create "wigglegrams" gifs to be able to share with people, something like this is truly a thing to process... I know it's tough enough to create gif's from two images
