You seem to have almost all the bases covered... You might want to consider a small compressor for tire inflation if you should need to air down for a wider track, such as for snow and soft sand... Nice video, thanks for sharing

You have a really good combination of gear in your bugout bag! I can tell you put a lot of thought into what to carry. I recently bought a 45 liter backpack and have my gear all laid out on the living room floor while I am trying to decide what to put where. I think I will re-watch this video several times and that should help me pack all my stuff. I hope so.

Nice collection of stuff, I have the same generic 50ltr in coyote with a couple extra pouches attached and it weighs about 12-15kg loaded up as when I left civilised life for a few months, however nowadays I use a karrimor 60ltr pack and colour coded pouches for organizing, so far I've pretty much lived from it for six months even in my flat lol apparently I am not as civilised as most folks.

Very nice set up. It's comprehensive and well thought out. It has useful kit that you'll need without a lot of "fluff". I like seeing bags with good med kits and yours has one. The only things I might add are an additional full tang backup knife stainless, a steel or titanium cup and some sort of a mini stove. I like biomass stoves because you don't have to carry any type of fuel with you. Anyway...Great kit and thanks for the info.

bril b o b mine is much the same and i was quite amused to see you had things i had randomly picked (the map bag been one of them!) nice thing is that as long as you can think what might/will be a problem your off! mine is a bit more jumbled but covers everything i could think of (and some i couldnt lol) and is in a 30 litre bog standard backpack, not camping type, just the type you would carry to work for instance! yea its heavy but it was an extreme budget bugout bag, i didnt have much choice (plus walking round with something looking military in an urban environment is just going to attract attention! unlike most preppers i dont drive so i needed what i needed with me in that bag so i can walk a fair distance until i need to stop... a car would take me further followed by the walk! my first aid kit is big and light but covers tons of possible problems... even down to an israli bandage (well you never know do you?!), burn spray, bug spray, heat pads etc. i just think over what i used to get injured with when i was younger and cover those bases, then things now, then possibles! expect the worst, prep for the best!

Great kit you have there! I may have missed it, but, I didn't see a water filtration kit. I see you have a fishing kit, but, how about also getting a few body grip or foothold traps to catch live wild land game? We also have heirloom vegetable seeds and sprouting seeds in our kit. Safety glasses to protect your eyes is a MUST, and salt is very important to have. If I were you, I would beef up the sleeping and shelter gear to a more robust one. You may not be able to carry a gun where you live, and I understand if that is why you may not have mentioned it. Lastly, if you don't have a means to re-charge your batteries, I'd recommend getting some solar lights. Thanks for sharing.

Think I'd put the sas guide in a waterproof bag to keep it safe, on my bag I put a first aid sign in the first aid kit pouch so if you are in an accident and unconscious if anybody finds you and your bag they know that it's a first aid pouch, love those military tin openers, I had two, list em both :( I also got a metal whistle as I wasn't sure of the durability of a plastic one!

i dont mean to offend at all but i must say for ur best intrest step up ur bag game ....bugout for a grown man should be atleast 5000 cubic in..i have had elberlestock warhammer, hillpeople quia, and now exo mountaineering and i must say exo far surpasses my expectations...top quality hand made but pricey .....buy once cry once.....$535 but your bag is the most important part of ur loadout period then boots so on and so forth...but those bags u have would do u good if u got two weeks ...for a bugout or inch bag i hate to tell u u wont make it they are super uncomfortavle ive had both ....i challenge u to go on a 10 mile hike 1once a month youll see what im saying your bag is your life bcause u are carrying ur life on ur back ....hope this inspires u to change ur pack .dont have to get mines but i truly know what im talkin about ...

Hi, no offence taken, we all have our opinions :) I've actually been considering down sizing of late... I do hike and camp quite often and yes it definitely does help i agree. I guess it all comes down to what a bag is for.. mine being for an emergency night out etc. There will be an update vid on this topic soon as I have removed unnecessary gear for a better sleep system. Thanks for watching.

3:53 I like the mindset of *repurposing* containers (tictac case)....well done like how you found new kits at hotels..lol ...I am similiar with restaurants and their spice package options..lol 3:30 Garden trimmer saws are good in a pinch..but not good for long term, I find. 13:08 why the sunscreen lotion? I thought UK was mostly cloudy weather ?
@KentSurvival
@KentSurvival 7 жыл бұрын
Hotels / restaurants are great for camping / single serving type things.. love em :) - as my bags are multifunctional (good for when you forget things on an overnighter etc) I figure the sun screen could come in handy one day... in that 2 week window of sun we usually get haha... because we don't have much sun in the UK I think sun damage is higher than in hot countries due to people not being used to the sun.. or so I hear.
@kan-zee
@kan-zee 7 жыл бұрын
Interesting...I never thought about the Minimal exposure to instant sun exposure affects. That makes sense, since UK folk are mostly acclimated to low sun ray conditions..thanks for the education ..cheers

Thanks.. there is an update to this video. the sleeping bag is by ozark trail, its a summer bag but better than none in a pinch (I keep clothes in the truck too), I can't remember the tarp.. Its a small cheap one, probably very similar to a army basha (which is probably a better choice to be honest.
