I use bullet journaling more like reading journaling and have been in a bound book this year. Recently discovered happy planner and fell in love with the disc bound system so i made my reading journal for 2023 in a diy disc bound system and i already love it so much! The endless possibilities of changing everything throughout using it are just a huge selling point to me! This really inspired me for some different spreads for my journal!

I've been switching from travelers notebook, to the happy planner to bullet journal and it gets so overwhelming looking at videos and I can't make up my mind, I'm all over the place, however, bullet journaling takes a lot of time drawing in the calendars and is smaller I might switch back to my happy planner while incorporating in a bullet journal.

I use a discbound bullet journal too. It doesn't work for me in a bound book. I transformed a classic happy planner to a bullet journal and it is the best of both worlds.

There is no rule that says you have to bullet journal in a bound book. You can bullet journal in anything. Do whatever works for you.

Hi, I recently found this video and don't know if you're still using this set up, but did you archive your pages and how?

I’m using a different system currently. To be frank, archiving has never been my strong point 😝😆 I have a bunch of old planner pages in a box, disorganized. I’m not the one to advise in this area 😬😬 I still haven’t landed on a system yet.

Hi Elyssa. I just watched this video today on 9/30, and I found it very helpful. I have been working with bullet journaling only a couple of months, and using a bound book is driving me crazy. So, I just ordered the small Happy Planner again for 2020. This video gave me some idea of how I can set it up. I'm wondering - is it still working for you to use the disk journal, at this time, and how its going with this set up. Anyway, thank you for sharing your ideas for this.

I used to use Levenger, Arc, then Happy Planner. I like the discs, but not the overwhelming deco of HP. I tried a Filofax for about a month before I found TNs. I started Bullet Journaling last December. The best part about bullet Journaling is applies in every planner system that you need it too. I even started a teacher planner bullet system last semester. I understand the itch, but have no desire to go back to rings or discs.

Can you share about the puncher you used? I need to transfer journal pages to a new disc bound one.

I totally forgot to put a link in the description box! I purchased this Levenger hole punch from Amazon - amzn.to/2YGrmyn

Are the pages and trackers you have all from one place? If so is there a bundle pack for larger sizes?

Really cute notebook! Why not just label your tabs with removable label tape instead of keeping the sections listed on a post it?

Thank you! I could have done that, but I think I was still so non-committal and just trying it out :P
