I have been watching it go up pretty much since you started with it and I'm just curious I live in the States and something like that would cost just guessing now probably close to 250k if not more. And when did you start and when will it be done.

Did I miss something. Why wouldn’t you want to finish the walls before installing the cabinets? Is there a method to this madness?
@TheDetailGeek2
@TheDetailGeek2 2 жыл бұрын
Yes of course there is. The slatwall simply butts up to the cabinets…putting it behind them would be a waste of material 👍🏻 There’s also no need for any drywall behind the slatwall either, which would again be a waste of material.

Confused why you haven't finished the walls before the cabinets? The small holes that are in the back of many of the cabinets will allow moisture through which will cause mildew to form on the studs and insulation.

Hey Mitch, great update. The cabinets look amazing and have a ton of storage for tools and toys. I was happy to see the installer using a level to make sure they are right. Nothing worse than having unleveled cabinets. My confusion stems from the lack of wall coverage behind the cabinets. I would have thought the wall would go up first and then the cabinets put in place. Are they easy to move so the wall can be worked on behind them? Is ruby going to be the only bright color in the studio? Are you planning some color accents? Thanks for the peek! 😎❤🧡💛💙💜💗
