My Calathea collection + some care tips

The last one is a grey star ctenanthe calathea and mine are starting to crisp as well. It was super healthy for months and out of nowhere the same thing started happening to mine as yours

Absolutely beautiful.. 😍 Calathea are my absolute favorite.. Nothing can beat them when it comes to beauty and foliage.. Though they are little finicky and they don't love me that much.. 🙃😁 But I'm learning gradually how to keep them happy.. Thanks for sharing.. It helps..

Almost forgot, i have a few varieties of Agalonema. I think you would like them. Their easy to take care of, grow 18-24 inches high. They look similar to the Triostar or Sanderiana but are available with many more color variations. Their also called Chinese Evergreens.

You would probably benefit from taking them out of terra cotta pots. The terra cotta really pulls away a lot of the extra moisture and humidity that they need.

Great videos! I've seen your other videos and love your collection! I've been an orchid collector for a while now and have recently ordered a Cllathea Medallion and Stromonthe Triostar. It seems they both can be temperamental about their location, watering, and room humidity. But thanks to You Tubers like you I'll know what to be aware of and how to react. I like that "Pen stripped" Calathea you have. Im going to have to get one of those. Its so unique and beautiful. BTW you speak very good and clear english and your accent is very hard to detect but i think its french? Im guessing your Canadian? Thanks again! You Tube is my #1 plant resource.

Don't give up on the Calatheas!...they are known for being finicky and difficult ...you are doing really well,ass many people do consider this a plant for experts only (;...don't give up!
