Awesome guys, this is what I am trying to do now. I completely stalled and stayed the same for 4 weeks, so I've increased calories now for around 8 weeks. Ready to try a drop again after Christmas. I started in April, currently 35lbs down. Trying to make it to 42lb down. (3 stone loss)

Yep, most of the time, people track half-heartedly and wind up in a surplus without even realizing it. It's just like when people estimate their bodyfat% and it's always way higher than they think. A very small percent of people weigh everything with a food scale in grams, don't overdo it on weekends, and know their cals/macros to a tee daily.

This. I was very meticulous when I was on a cut. Lost weight at a good pace. Leanest I've ever been.

Really appreciate a recent comment about counting your perfect days, as far as staying on track with exercise and nutrition plan. It has really helped me stay on track!

And this is why I don't count calories. It's too stressful and it's not sustainable. Almost 54 and I'm just intuitively lifting, I don't even have a plan, except I have fun!!

That’s great if you’re happy with your level of fitness and physique already. But if you want to make real progress in a certain area, you need to at least have an idea of where your nutrition is at…and progress your training accordingly.

Imagine if you did count and had a pln, maybe you'll look better (better is relative)

@@mohamadsorya6718 possibly but knowing myself, the stress and boredom of structure would be too much, and as a layperson, I'm happy with my results 😊.

Of course your body can become fat adapted which is why a lot of people say muscles are fat burning factories
