Hey Wilber, new to your channel, I raised two boy's by myself so I had to keep them busy, especially as teens, so I went to the yard and towed home old classic cars for them to restore and get running, and they did just that. At 40 years of age my oldest to this day manages a Lincoln dealership in the services department since he was 16 teen, So proud of him. I love fixing up old stuff, I will enjoy your channel, my channel is very new, and about adventures and cooking. Little scary but slowly getting over that😊

We are new to RV life, not sure I would want to stay overnight at Wallmart. As far as making breakfast, I would get the coffee started before anything else. What others said about the curtains is correct.

People are jerks man. I bought a used 1990 F250 a few years back. Real good condition. I parked at a Home Depot to grab some things, came out and there was a huge deep jagged scratch from the front fender all the way to rear of the bed. It was obviously from a key or a screwdriver.

I was in mojave city back in 18' by myself in my rig and tried to stay at the walmart there, there was a group of crazies running around in fast cars flashing their guns at us campers, we all left. You have to be very careful out in the desert of california you can easily come up missing like so many have!

I usually pull the curtain up and have the window open. Just was numerous people driving by, didn't want people looking in. I do have a fire extinguisher I keep by the sink/stove. I'd recommend all campers keep at least one in your camper.

Most of the pieces of glass were up against the screen. Some on the hood/ground. I picked it up so Zora wouldn't try to eat it.

Lex and polycarbonate plastic is the way to fix your front window. Use the smoke version and then use matching window tint on your other two windows. In the event another one of those tempered panels shatters the window tint will hold it in place and you can simply put clear packing tape on the outside and not have to bother to replace it it'll simply be shattered but still sealed in waterproof. What a sweetheart dog glad she's getting a good breakfast and getting to travel. I have a slide-in camper but someone stole it.

I was able to open the hood and was able to reach the window to put some tape on it for now. I have air tags on all my vehicles and the camper. Theft is always something I worry about.

I am sorry that you had to pay a personal price for this, but overall I dream of a scenario where campgrounds are used for camping, again. Where Walmart, Cracker Barrel, Cabela's, VFW, Moose Lodge are used for emergency stops when it's dangerous to travel being that tired. Currently w vagabond, vanlife, full timer, digital nomad, and homeless or semi homeless the entire system that used to be for recreational vehicles is being gamed. People are more interested in making content or setting up lighting or camera tripods than actually enjoying the outdoors.. thousands of parks and open spaces are ruined, some are beyond recovery because of over use and misuse, mismanagement. Many of our parks are no longer easy to use and affordable, instead have reservations systems and lines of people waiting for someone to pull out so they can push the limits. I have seen Walmart go from an on again off again thing to many Walmarts turning away people who are trying to park because they are full, while others discontinued having availability of parking because of ongoing problems. Entire country needs to do a reset.. instead of being pretend and disingenuous, we need to acknowledge that there are way too many thousands in campers because of lack of affordable housing, not for fake adventure!!

Is that a '65 Dodge? Does it have a slant 6 or a 318? Most likely the 318 since you have a fairly large camper. Really nice set up. My dad was a Ford man back then, but eventually ended up with an '86 Dodge Ram 4x4 that he liked a lot.

I am no fireman, but that curtain looks pretty close to the burner on the stove top? Also, if you didn’t hear it, then it’s hard to be sure that they are the ones that did the damage. Could’ve just as easily been a rock when you were driving down the road. I know you said you did not notice it when you were coming back from shopping, but then again, maybe you did not really look.

I usually have the curtain pulled up, but people kept driving by, so I left it down. I do have a fire extinguisher (recommend every camper have one). I did take a couple of pictures of the truck when I arrived at the parking lot. It wasn't broken when I got there.

My fan is a RVLOVENT. I've used it numerous times this summer. Lots of air flow, and it's quiet. The best part is that it has a sensor that shuts off the fan/closes the cover if it rains. I added a link to the description of the fan I bought.

@@followwilber383 it has the same remote as my Hurraventer which also has the rain sensor. Problem is, in my opinion, Is you have to turn on the rain sensor function via the remote. Wouldn't it make sense to just have it automatically come on whenever you open the vent?
