If your portal 2 email is late, please don't call IRCC asking for that as she says. You have to wait. It will take time. Most people now wait more than 2 months usually to receive the portal 2 email.

Submitted my photo on portal on 14 june 2024 (Friday) and am waiting for ecopr email (today is 5th business day) I can see that you have received yours within 2 business days but in my case its been 5 business days.

The reason I'm asking is because my employment is on hold because of ecopr. There are two options for me. Either wait for ecopr or apply for PGWP and start working on applied status of PGWP. For more information, visit our our website. You are cautioned that if we reject your application for permanent residence as incomplete: • we will refuse your completed application for a bridging open work permit; and • your processing fees for a bridging open work permit will not be refunded , So I think bridging work permit would be the best way

Hi it may be taking longer as u applied from India , also depends which office is processing your application, however getting biometric request usually means everything has been reviewed. Hope u get it soon

Have my docs been processed and all IRCC is checking right now is my background ? 2. What would be expected timeline till I get my PR? 3. Does ircc request for docs after med and biometrics have been updated or is it usually before that and this means all the docs that have been uploaded by me have been verified by the officer and they are okay with it? Nothing can be said for certain , but usually if u receive the biometric and medical request that means that they have already reviewed and verified all your docs and information . Your Ecopr should be coming very soon now , all the best . What i did and would rercommend is calling IRCC , they are able to give u an update ,. For example in my case they told me that the team is working on my profile and i should be getting the portal request soon , and dont know if it was just a coincidence or if the call expedited the process but i got the email the next day

I don’t think they checked my student visa application but my documents were all kind of the same and I had already explained about my work experience in my statement of purpose for study visa and attached a reference letter from my manager and my employment letter was also signed by the same manager so I am guessing if they did there was no issue
