“My Car Dies Randomly” Easy Fix !

Chevy impala randomly dies people say it’s because of the security system but in this video I prove them wrong. These Chevy impalas are very comfortable cars with strong engine but they’re known for their security problems and shutting off randomly. This car has been fix and hasn’t had a single problem ever since that’s why I post this video to people that are going trough the same situation. This could be a very easy fix. Could be a number of problems but start with the easiest first. Scan the car with a OBDII scanner if you have one handy. If not, just replace things systematically, starting with the cheapest items, like the PCV valve and MAF sensor. If the car is running or idling rough then pull the plugs and check those. If the plug look OK while you have the plugs out check the spark coils with a multi-meter. This should take any average DIY mechanic about one weekend altogether. Problems also could be a bad ECU as well but try the above first as those problem are the least expensive and are easy to tackle for the home DIY mechanic. The least problematic cars are Toyota and Honda so always check out those two car manufacturers when considering a used car. Also any cars made between 1990 and 2005 are far less complex and have less electronics overall .

bro I got into a problem too, my car dies randomly once or twice a month, it runs smoothly tho, no other issues at all, no engine misfires or any problem, I changed my maf sensor, fuel pump but it didn't fixed the problem, can I have some help ):

@@cryptoman6404 Also could be the coils are starting to go bad. I had that problem on my Rav4. Rav4 would stall and start back up without any problem. After a few months of this reoccurring the problem got worse and worse. Ended up replacing all 4 coils and the problem was fixed! Rav4 has been running fine for the past year now! Easy to test the coils as well. Just type in testing car coils with a multi-meter here on KZbin!

I drive my car for about 6 miles stop for a while like 20 minutes at the store it doesn’t start right away takes about 3 tries I drive for about a block and my car starts to lose power while accelerating . It turns off the key is still in its right position and the car is still in drive , I try to turn it on it cranks and tries to catch but won’t until the third try. I’ve sent it to 2 mechanics and both are saying it didn’t give them a problem and they charged me $250 for a diagnostic. Help 2005 Chevy impala .

I'm having this issue but I have to charge it to get it started. Before it powers off it says something about stabiltrak and battery placement or something. My power steering leaks and I believe it's so bad it messed up the wires

You have to jump your car to get it started? This is a clue that your alternator is failing or you have a bad battery that is not holding charge.

@@Rayspeed1 that's what I thought too but neither are the issue. I had this issue before and took to the mechanic. He did say it was something to do with the wiring but I can't figure out what. Once I get it started it's fine for a couple minutes then error message pop up on the dash and then it just shuts off

@@Roy_Boy4.1 well I had a similar issue with a clients car. His battery was always dead so he had to jump the car. The issue was that every time the battery died on his car the security system activated. So the fix for this car was we found what was draining the battery, and it never had that issue after the drain was fixed. In fact the car truck was a Chevy!

@@Rayspeed1 just because of your advise I took the battery to AutoZone and got it charged up. Heading home now. Hopefully it helps. I'll let you know what happens

Cool. Do u live I florida the road looked like florida I have a the same car ls 2002 3800 v6. I replaced the ignition that key goes into 3 years when the start lights were flicker on left hand turns. Never happened again. But the car shut off while idleling and hear flickering i.a check the negative terminal of the battery the crank sensor u said.
