My first car at 16 was a 70 Barracuda. I paid $400 for it in 1981 and had to borrow it from a coworker. Over about a year I had the interior done and put in a stereo. One day, a guy made a left in front of me and my Barracuda was no more. Completely destroyed. During the last 40 years I have gotten married, raised two kids and become a grandfather twice. I have been dreaming of getting another Barracuda. I was finally able to find a 74 Barracuda and had just enough money for it. I was so lucky to find one that was in great shape with a lot of work already done. It's a dream every time I drive it.

Very inspiring story. I'm 17 now and back in June about a month before my birthday I asked my dad if I could buy a project car and my birthday present would be some garage space. I got to looking at some cars and found an insane deal on a 73 cuda that cam with a full drivetrain. The engine was a 340 6-pack and it was bolted to a 727 with an 8 3/4 rear end. It was out of my price range but as a bonus birthday present my dad said he would take a loan out as long as I would make the payments. Fast forward to now, I'm about to wrap up my engine build and drop the engine in the car for the first start since the 80s. I found your videos and binge watched all of your cuda related content. Very inspiring videos! Thank you!

The Cuda is my favourite car too, and I pulled a heap of a '72 out of a junkyard last spring that I painted FJ5 "limelight" green in my garage over the summer.

1000$ for a 74 big block Charger wish i can find prices like these here lol , the 73-74 Charger SE was always the dream car , my second fav is a 70-74 "Cuda next to it good luck with your project man!

Man I did the same thing, wanted a Cuda since I seen my first one at maybe 6-7yr old (buddies uncle had a 72 340/4spd car)... Finally found mine BY STRAIGHT ACCIDENT in 2019, kept stopping in and asking finally got it in July of 2020. 74 360/4spd car. Sat for 22 years, check it out on my channel if ya feel like it! Glad to see your making your dream come true!

@@MADCRE8TIVE absolutely. I'm right in tune with you on speaking things into existence, it's powerful stuff. It's a very neat car, needs floors and a lot of other stuff as well. I'm about to introduce a 71 Duster 318/3spd on the channel that I'm giving to my dad as well, so cuda is just kinda hanging out right now til I finish that and stack a few more parts (floors mainly)
