@@thedailytoast4872 Yes, it depends on if they have enough workers. Its better for them to have more workers than less if they were given an out-world as there wouldn't be a lot ready to forage.

I have sansabeanus and I bought it from someone and she had 5 workers and then she lost all workers one by one (slowly) and it’s just her and 2 larvae now 😞 she’s my first ant colony I’ve owned and I don’t want to lose her. She seems to be doing fine herself I just hope she’s able to produce more. I think you’re the only person I’ve seen video wise on sansabeanus.

Don’t worry. Minimize her from getting any stress. Try to feed her an apple slice when you think she’s ready.

My Camponotus parius colony is 5 months old and has somewhere around 80-100 workers they already filled two test tubes in their tubs and tubes setup. Recently hydrated the soil to see them excavate the soil and make the setup a bit more interesting. They made a giant chamber and quite a few tunnels. They too took a long time to finally start foraging out of their test tube as I introduced them to the setup when they were at 15 workers. Has 5-7 majors now P.S: What lighting do you use in your videos?

Great video! I have a question, i'm looking to make one of these myself and I was wondering once you put the test tubes in the set up do you cover them with anything because from what I can see you leave the test tubes uncovered. I know nesting ants crave darkness so I found it a little strange.

Hey Ender what’s up? Nice video I really like the coloration of your camponotus colony. Yesterday I watched some of your videos and have been taking inspiration for my videos. Do you mind if you could give me some advice on how to grow my ant channel? If not that’s totally fine.

Of course I can! The obvious ones are to edit your videos. They don’t have to be crazy with edits. For my videos I dont really have any crazy edits other than transitions and good lighting. Next is to get a macro lens for your phonez That would make your ants look larger. My older videos use a macro lens. Hopefully these tips will help :D

I do have camponotus here in Philippines, 9 workers ,but still they don't want to leave their test tube and they put barrier inside of their test tube for protection to the intruder because my natural setup has springtails and isopods and some baby millipedes. So I decided to take them out of terrarium and put them away form light and sounds. Hopefully they will progress until they're ready to move out of their test tube. Until now I dont knoe the exact sp of my camponotus little colony🤣
