Carvana is an amazing company and very easy to do business with. We ordered a GLA 250 and sadly the truck carrying the car backed into a tree. Did not damage the car just the truck but carvana does not sell cars that have been in accidents. We ordered again and they delivered it with a bouqet of roses and a restaurant gift card for the first mistake.

Carvana's prices seem a little higher than normal dealerships, but with all of the extra stuff that they offer (150 point inspection, additional great warranty, not having to deal with a sleazy dealer, etc.) the extra money to me almost seems worth it, within reason obviously.

Loved my experience. My BMW, after investigating, was previously owned by BMW of North America as a company car for a manager. When I purchased the 2 year old car it had, and I saw in the website photographs, the factory mats still covered in clear plastic and a factory tag hanging from the interior trim that was hooked on before the trim was installed at factory. I have a cream puff. Simply put. All the Carvana employees I spoke to were kind, courteous and professional. No pressure to buy. What a relief and I could check it out for 7 days/400 miles or return it. WOW, try that at a dealer.

The main conversation about buying an over-priced used car like this should be about the extended warranty offered and how well it protects the buyer. I’ve purchased from Carmax and I guarantee you the only lasting impression and important part of the purchase is the extended warranty coverage.

Got my Murano from Carvana.. I was looking at Muranos or Outbacks..it truly was the easiest car buying experience. My 1st choice was an Outback. Got it, took it to a mechanic, they found rust underneath. Called Carvana, they picked it up, no questions asked. I left a copy of the mechanics inspection detailing rust inside the car.. Found a Murano, 1 owner, EXCELLENT price, great miles, fully loaded,.. grabbed it!! Got it home, took it to a mechanic for inspection. Was told I got a great deal. I’ll only use Carvana going forward. When buying a used car (from anyone), have it checked out... CYA(cover your assets).. I will say there was a lengthy delay receiving my tags..

when you said get a used car and send it to a mechanic within the 7 day complimentary period what would I say to the mechanic? would I say something along the lines of “i am test driving this used car and thinking of buying it, could you perform an inspection on the car and let me know of any problems and if it’s worth the purchase?” would an average mechanic understand, or would I need to be more specific?

The compelling advantage to Carvana is the 7-day return and 400 mile test drive. Other than this, caveat emptor applies, and buyers should be very diligent. The Carvana inspection is proving to be no more than a decent cleaning, and thus unreliable.

Just bought a 2012 BMW 535i M Sport through Carvana, I’m having it delivered this Saturday. Really nervous as it’s a BMW and I’m buying it sight unseen but I know that if I don’t like it they’ll let me pick something else. Plus I got the warranty with the car. Overall the process was easy minus having to call Experian to have a fraud alert removed which delayed my purchase. After that it was a breeze.

@@pappamanny19 I financed it. I also returned the BMW because it was a POS. Leaked oil, burned oil, interior was spray painted to cover up the worn leather panels. Car was trashed. I gave it back to them after I removed all of the spray paint on the inside. I had them bring me a 2015 VW GTI after they came back for the BMW

In June 2020, I brought a car from Jeep Grand Cherokee Carvana without hitch. In Sept, 2020, I brought another car from Carvana (Kia Forte) for my daughter. Carvana was suppose to register the Kia, but due to the pandemic, registration was going to take a while. When I finally got the registration for the Kia, I find that Carvana transfer the car registration and plates from my Jeep to her Kia. I informed Carvana of their mistake in December and as of date they have not rectify the situation. Carvana has offered no solution or real compensation for their mistake. They tell me it will take 43 days for DMV to give me a new title for my Jeep since Carvana misspelled my name on the title and I can't re-register the Jeep on-line. Carvavna did offer me a measly $250 to use for either a uber or lyft car to get me back and forth to work and things I needed to take care of, and won't reimburst me for a rental> I would steer clear of buying a car from Carvana. Stick to your local dealerships.

You get temp plates and have to get some forms notarized and then mail to them (pre-paid envelope). Then they process it and you pick them up at the local DMV.

Best to go at the end of the month to a new car dealership, negotiate aggressively, and get a great deal on a new car!

I recently returned a car after my 7-Day trial and let me tell you... I messed that transmission up 🤦🏿‍♂️ I hope they do that 150 point inspection before heading it off to the next person but I use the manual feature and it didn't go well. I returned the car because I did not like how they structure of the loan! My plan was to pay the car off in 2 years but the loan was for 5 years so the interest rate was locked in. So if I paid the car off in 2 years I would still have to pay the for five year interest rate and it didn't work for me.

The title is under their name until you pay it off. The registration is done by them. You pay tax and reg fee upon purchasing the car. You can drive the car for 45days with their temporary license plate and then they send you the official plates later
