Hyperdipped my badges. The front GMC logo finished a little iffy but the other badges were fine. Took it through a car wash 2 days later and it blew chunks of the Hyperdip off of the front badge. Went home and had just enough left in the can to redo the front. I’ve been through that same wash now about 5x no problems. Highly satisfied with the product. Also satisfied with your channel Don. I can’t tell you how many ideas you’ve given me for my AT4! Keep up the good work!

Just used Hyperdip on my AT4 badges and I am very happy with the results! Also added the lights to tailgate that increase visibility when the tailgate is in the "step" position. Thanks to your videos I found these two easy DIY projects. Thank you.

First, I am soooo appreciating your AT4 vids! I just purchased a 2020 AT4(white) and am loving it. Wish list includes black inlays for grille, possibly wrapping the outer part of grille in black as well as trim around fog lights and Borla S type exhaust like yours(not sure if wife will tolerate it during driving(what do you think?). Anyway, I'd like to know what tires(brand, size etc) you have?

Does either dip do poorly when I applied in below freezing? I figure humidify will be really low when it’s frozen. Cheers from Vermont!

I wouldn’t attempt to apply it in low temps. Room temperature or a little warmer is ideal. Once cured I haven’t had any issues with -40°F/°C cold

Am I correct that you don’t use any wheel cleaner, and no brushing/scrubbing other than the one you’d use on the truck itself? That’s been the main thing stopping me. You’ve addressed the durability, which was the other concern.

Bug and tar remover is a no go, it softens and weakens the film. I have used a little wheel cleaner before as a test and it seemed okay, but I prefer using soap approved for washing your car/truck.

You can use a soft nylon brush to scrub too. Not a problem if you did a good job with the application
