OP1 almost messed everything up due to being emotional. "I was afraid she would only admit what I already knew", then proceeds to stop gathering evidence and confront her on what he knew. These reddit threads usually advise people to gather evidence first and contact a lawyer, I was surprised he did everything out of order but luckily it still worked out. Maybe I just have watched too many of these videos recently lmao

I heard the first story before and I'm happy, that OP pulled through with the divorce. It's also very good to hear, that the ex wife has to pay him money and not the other way around. Now I would want to say one thing guys and gals of thid comment section, remember leaving your cheating partner might hurt, especially if you've been with them for a long time, but staying with them hurts even more.

to be honest, the thing about one person having to pay to the other shouldnt have anything to do with the income in the situations, i feel like the one that needs to pay is the one that cheats. and of course the one that cheats is also the one that doesnt get to see the kids as much and all that. if there is only one house the one that cheats doesnt get to be in it... is just common sense to me, if you are cheating, you need to be the one that faces all the bad consecuences of what you did.
@Khaghaan5 ай бұрын
@@arthaiser I think so too, in my opinion it makes no sense to make the guy that suffered, suffer even more. Like forget the income, the house and anything else, but why would you grant a cheater custody? For me the child is doomed to hate their victim parent, because the cheater will Twist the Story in their favour.

It doesn't matter if cheating turns physical or not. Emotional cheating is still cheating, as is simple flirting. Never give them an out, never accept their apologies, and never reconcile. Always return the used garden tools to the nearest street corner.

Story 2 makes me sad. I understand her situation. Being bullied and black balled by a sibling. Used and then abused when they no longer need something. She is not obligated to invite her sibling, and it sounds like this sister completely runs the show in that family. What a narc.

So what was ex actually angry about? She chose to have an affair with someone else who was taken, and who was clearly a pos, she should know if you seriously out earn your partner, you're gna need to give them spousal support (which regardless of who's paying it, is stupid imo). So what exactly is she angry about?

Second story, they probably see her as the golden child. The one the parents put all their attention into. Especially the older sisters, probably had to sacrifice time and things in order for the parents to look after her. Not defending them, but this is probably the other side of certain Reddit stories we read

But not amerite the bullying and everything else. Sisters are just a-holes there. And if my sisters does the same to each other, i swear one of them will had no hair by the end of the day, and not even my parents will stop me.

@@SenseiRaisen the confrontation has gone that large, then the sister would’ve probably blurted out all that. But the main hint I’m getting is that all of the siblings are united against her . But the parents are on her side. Also, the fact that the parents are willing to pay for her wedding, she doesn’t mention that for her sisters
@SenseiRaisen7 ай бұрын
@@Storymaker1316 Honestly that is true... but OP doesn't sounds like the typical "Golden Child, i'm above anyone". In fact all the siblings sounds like that instead, specially both of her sisters. If anything they are lashing out at the wrong target, probably because is more easier to target one of them instead of think who the issue is.

For all we know, there might have been extenuating circumstances. Maybe she wrote herself to be a victim We can only speculate . Maybe her boyfriend is rude to the other siblings. Maybe she did rub it in the others faces how much better she was. Maybe she’s the one who took on the majority of all the work, even though the others didn’t want it. Maybe she actually did fuck up the wedding,( if your sister is as extravagant as she claims to be, there’s no way that she planted perfectly without any prior experience) I’m just saying, we don’t know if she’s lying anyway and like all Reddit stories, I take it with a grain of salt

Why women beg for forgiveness after cheating 🤔
@Nameless822847 ай бұрын
Because they "love" their husbands, they are happy with their marriage they just like if someone else is interested in them as it boost their egos. 9/10 times the cheating wives don't like their AP, it's just sex, and it didn't mean anything for them. They "love" their husbands and don't want to ruin everything they have so they cheat to please themselves.

The last story rubs me the wrong way for sure. "My parents always treated all of us the same" immediately followed by "I spent a lot more time with my mom than my siblings" is a red flag. Very often the favored child doesn't see what's happening. I agree that it's wrong to take that anger out on OP, especially as adults, but OP definitely seems to be overreacting in many of these cases and like a completely unreliable narrator. Calling someone a potato isn't fat-shaming ffs, it's normal teasing.

It’s so crazy how one of the common themes is having to record interactions with the person you married, out of fear of them lying on you in court. The same person who made vows being the same one who can destroy your life. Especially if they are the ones who ruined the marriage but want to take more from you and leave you heartbroken, poor, and homeless. Marriage is such a wild thing man…
