The “Red Special” (aka the old lady) was a guitar built by Brian and his Dad in the 60’s. I’ve seen Queen 4 times live and that guitar and Brian's sound is iconic! props to the sound guy, and props to the audio/video editor. they did an amazing job on the mix with three guitars (with the pressure of knowing one of them is Brian May) and tons of stage noise, and balanced it all PERFECTLY. you can hear everyone clearly, yet it sounds so huge whenever everyone comes together. it sounds great, it feels like youre there.
