Brian May is a legendary guitarist and wouldn't just play with any band. He must have a lot of respect for MCR.

A few years ago, he introduced the first Metal band to play the UK's Houses Of Parliament - a band called Collibus. They went on to be the only act ever to play the UK's 'Big Three' rock festivals - Download, Sonisphere and Bloodstock Open Air - in the same summer; they also played Wacken and Graspop, in Germany and Belgium respectively, in the same summer. This was 2014, and he's been promoting them ever since. I'm proud to call them friends, but if you've read this far down, you probably already twigged that bit.

The man is the perfect guitarist. He knows when to sit in the background and do rhythm to let the others show off, but also when to kick into lead and add flourishes in just the right places to spice things up. I can't honestly think of a guitarist who is as equally brilliant at both roles.

Bryan May is what every rocker should be, mind, ears and heart open to new styles. Many rockers dont listen to emocore, only old classical rock bands, and people say rock is over. No! Here Brian May shows you rock aint over, It just is evolving to new styles. Who says rock is over is someone stuck in the past.

@@dnc343 Yep!😁 And it's because of the little ridges along the edge of the coin. Turning it slightly creates a unique sound and it's why I started playing with a dime (I live in the US and a dime is the closest thing to a sixpence coin in size, ridges, and I think materials). The sound is rather pleasant.😌

The “Red Special” (aka the old lady) was a guitar built by Brian and his Dad in the 60’s. I’ve seen Queen 4 times live and that guitar and Brian's sound is iconic! As a Mom with a teen daughter in the early ‘2000’s I understood her connection to MCR instantly, I lived it with Queen. Amazing to see generations merge, especially artists who provide not only songs but ANTHEMS!

when they started the chorus I started crying because its almost like they're talking to Freddie in a way like "and when you're gone we want you all to know we'll carry on, we'll carry on and though you're dead and gone believe me your memory will carry on" and it also kind of ties in to Bohemian Rhapsody in a way with the lyrics "mama, didn't mean to make you cry, if i'm not back again this time tomorrow carry on carry on as if nothing really matters" I don't know if thats what they were intending to do but I think it's a neat little thing they did

I realized that throughout the performance, Brian May gravitates towards Ray Toro the most. Like he literally leans over to Ray most of the time, and he is the sole band member he invited to put his arms around on. He probably sees his younger self on Ray a lot. They seem to genuinely and mutually enjoy performing side by side as well, you can see it at the smile on their faces.

props to the sound guy, and props to the audio/video editor. they did an amazing job on the mix with three guitars (with the pressure of knowing one of them is Brian May) and tons of stage noise, and balanced it all PERFECTLY. you can hear everyone clearly, yet it sounds so huge whenever everyone comes together. it sounds great, it feels like youre there.
