About:
Landis Legacy Farm LLC is a pasture raised meats and eggs operation, located on a 200 acre farm, 10 minutes from Blacksburg, VA. In addition to that, there's a pre-Civil War log house that's being remodeled on farm, a century-old covered bridge, as well as many structures to be built with lumber from our on farm sawmill.

Great job getting it back together. May i suggest putting a 2x4 on a hinge on each corner coming down at a 45 deg with a detachable chain/rope at the mid point to prevent another roll over. The hinge is so you can raise it out of the way when you move it.

The girls were a great help in rebuilding. Just a Few Acres Farm shows some outriggers he uses on his mobile coop for stability, in his video titled Chicken Round-Up. Glad the other two ladies weren't hurt in the roll-over.

We had some pretty strong winds here. With our biddy coop being very small and broad side to the wind i decided to screw on a diagonal brace that goes from one top corner across the center of the end wall and rests on the ground. It has kept the whole raised and top heavy coop planted firmly in place. I was imagining yours with a couple of braces you could attach to rotate up or down when you move it.

As said, a dollar saved is a dollar earned and you used everything again pretty much saving a lot of time and money... mill building is looking a touch faded and most likely need another concoction of diesel and oil to make it shine like it did at first. Saving that old engine oil is also getting used up and saving cash that some say "Just grows on trees".... nice job and skills learned building the mill house are a lot of that reason its back together again for sure.. loved it Josh

Good job getting it all put back together! I imagine egg production was affected? The chickens have two requests...1) A therapist to help them over the trauma and 2) a structural engineer🤣

It’s down a bit, but that’s mainly just due to “losing” about a dozen hens through this. 1. Maybe I should see if BetterHelp would sponsor a video 😆 2. I resent this…🤣

Wow, at lest you got it back together. Andy mentioned Just a few acres farm putting 2x4 0r 2x6s with hinges on the corners to help stabilize the coop. Should help you a lot. Just glad you were able to salvage it. Chickens are probably in shock. Terrifying ordeal. Might need some counseling for them. Thanks Josh
